Bruins 2025 Offseason

Noted, and corrected. Sorry coach.

91 is just mostly dead

Their entire ****ing ownership/mis-management structure ****ing Sucks. ONE ****ing Cup in FIFTY-THREE ****ing years is ALL one needs to know about their ****ing (in)competence. Enjoy the next 35 years of Nothing
Sindenitis still infects this organization and they will continue to not win Cups until his philosophy is exorcised

If by Sindenitis you mean building from the net/D out I doubt that will change any time soon. If you mean cheap that has changed, they spend to the cap every year. I was on the 'Jeremy Jacobs should burn in hell' train for decades but I'll give that skinflint devil his due, since the inception of the salary cap the B's have spent to it every year. He never denied it was a business and he expected it to turn a profit, unlike Sox ownership that pisses on our heads and tells us it's rain while selling us a pink hat and a Sox umbrella.

Meh. Doesn't excite me.

I mostly agree, although I am pleased they didn't go with Tocchet, Torts or some other retread. While Sturm may not excite me the choice didn't piss me off, so at least there's that

I would have taken Torts. At least he would have made good TV. Maybe this guy can be a good coach. Who knows?

We just have very different opinions of Torts. To me he's like the hockey version of Rex or Bobby Valentine except Torts stumbled into one championship... coaching a team that should have won more

Parcells & John McKay were two of the best I saw who could insult his own team yet still manage to keep them from killing him.
Tortorella hasn't yet learned how to do that, especially at his last few stops.

Tortorella has indeed managed to wear out his welcome PDQ in his last couple of stops

I just look at it as they aren't going to give anyone a real shot at winning, I'm kinda on Capt's program at this point. You know I am just a casual fan, so I appreciate your loyalty to the spoked B and I really do hope I'm wrong.

If only the B's waited another day or two...................

DeBoer? Hell no! He pissed on Fleury in Vegas and just did it again to Oettinger. The same Oettinger who inked an extension equal to Swayman's in October. It is asinine to publicly diss a young goaltender your team has made that type of commitment to. Tell me you don't really follow hockey without telling me you don't really follow hockey, smdh

Nah. He's not a long-term coach. Hes in the Mike Keenen category.

No idea GM for DAL was fmr Bruin Jim Nill.

I believe that he was also a long-time exec in Detroit under first Scotty Bowman then Yzerman before getting his own gig right?

Yep. I had no idea but just looked it up on Wikipedia

Yeah, Marchy is printing the money for his next deal even as we speak.
