I know, very well, that there is more to D than alignment. Not sure sure why you would think I don't.
I was making 3 points. The first is that Ponder is no lighter than other excellent "EDGE" players in this league. The second us that the Pats have used players the same weight as Ponder as 4-3 DE / 3-4 OLB / "EDGE" in the past. One of whom is the Current Coach in Vrabel.
My last point, to you specifically, was that BB's defensive style morphed over his tenure and it was seen by the changes in the alignments he ran.
