During the Brady era, the expectation was SB or bust. Winning the division was a forgone conclusion that was not celebrated. What's amazing is the Patriots actually lived up to expectations and were consistently in the SB. Usually winning.
Buffalo seems like an organization that is just happy to make the postseason. I've never gotten a sense of urgency rom their front office whatsoever. If Vrabel was the Patriots coach while they lost to one team four times in five years, he would be fired. McDermott seems to be not quite good enough. They have their Brady. They are missing a Belichick type HC.
All in all, the Patriots will make a SB before Buffalo does.
