Pete Carroll is going put the Raiders back on the map: they had a very nice Draft: A Jeanty - J Bech and D Thornton: to go along with B Bowers and J Meyers really nice Offense there.

During the Brady era, the expectation was SB or bust. Winning the division was a forgone conclusion that was not celebrated. What's amazing is the Patriots actually lived up to expectations and were consistently in the SB. Usually winning.

Buffalo seems like an organization that is just happy to make the postseason. I've never gotten a sense of urgency rom their front office whatsoever. If Vrabel was the Patriots coach while they lost to one team four times in five years, he would be fired. McDermott seems to be not quite good enough. They have their Brady. They are missing a Belichick type HC.

All in all, the Patriots will make a SB before Buffalo does.

Twin... I like Carroll he's a great coach.. but if they are reallying on Gino's Smith then they are limiting themselves. They definitely have some nice weapons on offense. ..

The GM just recently went off on the media trying to defend their lack of firepower on offense going full geek mode and pointing to "points per game in playoffs". Every team has a weakness or weaknesses and there's a reason people keep pointing to their WR's. At least they finally addressed that awful defense.

I don't think enough people ( not yourself) understand how much of a difference great coaching makes. We had 7 one score losses last season. Vrabel wins at least 5 of them last season.

Furthermore there are really no suprise teams entering this season that made the playoffs last season. Opponents will play them hard. I like our chances to be a team in the post season. I honestly believe we are a playoff team. The last few seasons were self inflicted disasters.

Texans to see seem like a team that makes the playoffs 4/5 years and makes minimal noise. stroud had a pedestrian season, granted his WRs were injured on and off the whole season but they’re talent rich. How much more does Mixon have in the tank?

I do like Denver, I think they have the makings of a legit top tier AFC team going forward.

The Colt game sticks out as one that was simply handed away. Based on the draft, I'm now happy about losing that game, but I agree 100% with your point.

Even in Bronco losses Nix made plays that were sharp. He proved that he is the guy like Maye did.

Denver hung in the Bills playoff game 7 - 13 until late in the 3rd quarter. Nix had a bad game. It happens. Payton is a proven offensive mind and I like his chances with Nix.

The AFCS is a dumpster fire.

Houston needs to stay healthy and theyll be a force to deal with.
