George Pickens traded

Looks like the Steelers are shipping Pickens off to Dallas for a 3rd round pick. I know a lot of folks here love Pickens but Tomlin and the Steelers, even though their WR situation is dire, thought that he was not worth the trouble.

He's a FA after this year and will want a lot of money which I don't think Dallas can afford (they've yet to give Parsons an extension).

Pickens is way better than bony Tyquan Thornton ever was. He’s no choir boy but he will get his payday with someone because talent talks in the NFL. This might be a one year rental by the Cowboys but they get a guy who could put up 1,000 yards for their offense.

Moss is the most talented wide receiver I have ever seen, but Rice did have a better career.
Because Rice had a better attitude.

Rice said that he trained like did because he feared failure.

I really think this is part of it, with Pop leaving the bench Tomlin is the longest tendered coach in American professional sports, I looked up when they last won a championship, and last got to the finals.

Mike Tomlin - Won 2008 , Finals 2010
Erik Spoelstra - Won 2012-2013, Finals 2022-2023
Jon Cooper - Won 2020-2021 , Finals 2021-22
Kevin Cash - Lost WS 2020
Brian Schmetzer - Won 2019, Finals 2020

Tomlin is just lucky the Rooney's value stability over all else.
Rooney Rule amendment: Don't fire Mike Tomlin no matter how many years he coaches without winning a championship.

won't matter... he'll just get injured again... he's starting to break down at 31...

Actually I would love to see how Joe Milton III would do in a game that counts. I sort of doubt that the May will last the whole season (unless he has added a lot of muscle) and the Patriots may regret letting Milton go...or maybe not, but we will not know unless Milton plays and we can see how he does.

Tomlin playing chess. Wicked smaht

The whole "I play when I want to play" is out of context. If you look at the full quote it's pretty damn clear that what he meant is "I play *because* I want to play."

Im agreeing with what ive read here...

Dax gets hurt..

Milton gets a shot.

Has two great receivers in pickens and lamb...

The only excuse left is the o line for Dallas.

Will they step up this year?

This is going to be an interesting season.

Also... Dallas has the 5th hardest schedule this year.

Concern for Maye shouldn't be about adding muscle, it should be about his head... Two dingers to the noggin in ten games is a real concern

Milton will have some good WRs to throw to in practice. lol

You should look in the mirror, if it isn't such a fkn blur.
Josh better than Randy...get fkn REAL BRUH, Drugs are Bad.
Otis Campbell aint got nothing on you. Remember the time he bought a cow thinking it was a horse?

Never mind Coke bottle glasses. I stated that Gordon could have been as good as Moss and its a fact.
