Would you trade #4 for AJ Brown and pick 32?

What if he takes a Mac Jones 2nd year jump?
I get your reference, but It would actually be an upgrade over his 1st season. As bad as Mac was, he still won 6 games to Drake's 1. Statistics are pretty much the same.
We’ll see, but I’d pump the brakes on playoff talk. Lots of new players and coaches who will take time to jell, even though the talent level should be much better.
The 2001 Pats were projected to be the worst team in the league which I didn't argue. The league now is way worse than it was then. In fact, the Washington Commanders have a horrible roster and ripped off 12 wins with a rookie QB. The Pats roster is way better than it has been the last 5 years. Preseason will show us whether this team is going to be a surprise playoff team.

I didn't see anything about this rumor on the Eagles boards.

Some do think that Roseman will make some kind of deal because Philly has 8 picks in this draft and 12 picks in 2026

It only makes sense if they see a "gotta have this guy" where they don't already have picks, since they wouldn't get a great return on '26 picks (since they're highly likely to be late in the round).

Agreed 100% is why personally I mentioned vrables the best coach in the division he has the combination of being a high level player, went elsewhere to gain his experience. Took Ryan tannehhill to the AFCCG. Has championship pedigree none of wich any AFCE coach has. How much longer can McDermott underachieve with Josh Allen?

Lots of juicy rumors that the Eagles and Pats have discussed the possibility of trading the Pats pick (#4 overall) for AJ Brown and the Eagles pick (#32 overall)

What say ye?

AJ Brown Stats - A.J. Brown Stats, Height, Weight, Position, Draft, College | Pro-Football-Reference.com
- 17 game average - 84 rec, 1327 yards, 9 TDs
AJ Brown Salary - https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/29087/aj-brown
- average cap hit about $23M
Trade Value Chart - 2025 NFL Trade Value Chart
- 2200 points for #4, 590 for #32, essentially valuing Brown at 1600 which is about the same as pick 6

I see the Bills run starting to come to an end. They'll make the playoffs, but they'll start getting eliminated sooner. The Bills have to have a good draft because their drafts since 2020 have been awful. If the Pats have made some good upgrades this off-season and have high picks in every round. If the Pats can land 2 impact players on offense or trade for AJ Brown, they will be a serious threat to Buffalo assuming Maye is the real deal.

I would do it. Then flip 32 and a 3rd to move back up to get Josh Simmons.

Agreed. As great as Allen has been. He's been banged up due to his playing style and from what is still being discussed that arm injury is still a factor. I feel good about Drake and the organization does as well becuase they are doing everything to support him. Thursday he'll have his tackle, and hopefully another WR in AJ Brown. On our D.. I just do not see teams moving the ball on our defense.. we have guys upfront that pride themselves on eliminating the run.

Drake's LT come Thursday.

The Patriots have a better offensive line than the Bills?
we def need to fix the Oline question is how much better are we with Marrones addition alone?

Throw in upgrade at Center, Right tackle, Strange at Guard. And whatever Left Tackle.

LT Campbell, LG strange, Bradbury at C, ownenu at RG, Moses at RT... there you go... add in Marrones coaching and vrables over sight of it all...

I don’t think it’s possible. The cap can be manipulated in many ways, but the Eagles have already made the vast majority of those moves. I’m not sure how they’re supposed to free up another $20M to take on the accelerated cap hits.

I’m not hedging anything. The team will be better. That doesn't necessarily mean they’ll make the playoffs.

Washington and Houston are exceptions and both already had more talented rosters.
Sure you are, otherwise why use an excuse that they have to gel? Now you seem to be changing that to talent level.

Let’s put it this way: this team SHOULD BE playoff team this year, if they were reasonably correct about their acquisitions.

With a 1st round LT they could

Onwenu is the only returning starter, the ol will go from league worst to above average. One of the primary reasons this will be a playoff team.

I doubt the Eagles would make that trade.... Maybe AJ Brown and a 2nd. But he is a great player... why would they want to weaken themselves when they are in position to repeat this year?

Yes of course but it ain’t gonna happen.

Not if Hunter is available. Otherwise I will do it in a heartbeat. Brown - great, proven and relatively young WR and a pick at the end of 1st round.

Are some of you forgetting who Drake Maye is??? We a f#*king STUD @ QB. A potential top 3-5 guy…Spare us with the Sack Jones comparisons…
