No. AJ Brown has peaked, we should take Carter for ourselves if he is there
AJ Brown is only 27 years old, and an All Pro caliber receiver, I would take him over Carter every time.

Especially since the Eagles would have to eat an Additional 42M in cap hit. Space they don't have and couldn't create even if they wanted to.Typical predraft rumors that will never, ever happen.
It’s always hard to gauge the veracity of the reports, but it sure would be a good thing for the Patriots.
I am always skeptical when I see a report this time of year but I wanted to indulge and dream. It’s always hard to gauge the veracity of the reports, but it sure would be a good thing for the Patriots.
Allegedly…
It's just not enough return for pick #4 overall, not even close.AJ Brown is only 27 years old, and an All Pro caliber receiver, I would take him over Carter every time.

I say no, that's not nearly enough return for that. At 32, there's a risk there will be no tackles left to take. And a pick in the low 60s next year isn't enough return to drop 28 spots, that's crazy. AJ Brown is a great player, but he's 28 and we'd be taking on a **** ton of salary.
I'd certainly do the deal, but that's not even in shouting distance of enough return for that. It would have to be 32, a Day 2 pick *this* year, and a first next year, before I'd seriously consider it. Right now, the deal is basically trading the #4 overall pick in the draft, for a 2nd this year, a 2nd next year, and AJ Brown. Assuming Brown himself is worth a 2nd round pick current year (which is what he'd get on the open market), a 2nd round pick next year isn't close to enough return. You could get 21 from Pittsburgh for @PatsFan2 's boy George Pickens, and get more than a 2nd next year. And Pickens is 24 and cost-controlled for 3 years.
I just saw PFF has Tet comp as AJ green. I am not sure I see that at all
Me either, but my point is, he's not going to be 28 in 2 months, and isn't on the hook for like 90 million over the next 5 years.I wouldn’t take George Pickens for free.

Moving from 4 to 32 is usually 2 firsts and an additional Day 2 pick, minimum.
This is moving from 4 to 32 for basically a 2nd this year (Brown) and a 2nd next year, which will be in the 60s, most likely. It's just not enough.
I don't really do comps because most people take that as you said this player would be that player.I have Tet’s comparison as Charles Rogers Detroit Lions.
100% true. Raiders are not trading away their starting LT. Why woukd they? He has already shown he can play.I am always skeptical when I see a report this time of year but I wanted to indulge and dream.
I don't think that either AJ Brown or Kolton Miller will be traded here.
I don't know about the rest of the NFL, but we've drafted 5 first round qbs since '71... Maye, Jones, Bledsoe, Eason & PlunkettCurious to know what team has used the most 1st and 2nd round QB’s during same period.
Eagles playing chess and trying to keep Giants from going QB lolNow Giants are def taking Carter, it’s that or watch him in Green the next 8 years, Joe Schoen should just retire.
