2025 Draft Strategy

2nd/early 3rd round WRs according to the consensus big board:

33. Emeka Egbuka
34. Luther Burden
53. Jayden Higgins
57. Tre Harris
61. Elic Ayomanor
64. Jack Bech
73. Jaylin Noel
77. Jalen Royals

I'd throw in Kyle Williams too.

With the usual Hunter/Carter caveat in place, the don't overthink it part of my brain says LT/WR (in that order) is clearly the way to go. There are just so many options there.

The Quint incoming?

Gibby was not used well by Amateur AVP: Gibby was an accomplished pass catcher in Washington: who should be better with Josh. My Twin @Real fan 02 can attest to that.

Twin.. you make me wish we could take the Field now!!! Gibby is ready to go.. he will be a revelation for the offense... AVP couldn't even call the plays on his own call sheet.

Too much twin too much.

Isaiah Bond too.

After watching him not even try to block, I very much doubt it.
Bond could be good at everything else nobody is perfect. Bond's speed and Route running is on par with Golden's.

Very good Draft profile... just getting in somebody's way in the run game will be a start. That weakness can be corrected.

It's deep in positions that are not of great need for us though.

DL, TE and RB
We have need at all of those positions. Not our primary or most urgent need, but need nonetheless.
I would bet we end up drafting one of each of those.

I wouldn't mind a Extra Second Rounder to grab TE Mason Taylor a young one to grow with Maye. M Taylor can do it all like his dad.

I do too. Just not at 4 overall unless his name is Carter.
