I have been on the Campbell train for awhile nowHope so
You don't give up 4 sacks over 3 years in the hardest division in College Football, and be a fkn bum.
That doesn't make sense, especially when you START as a true freshman.
Godzilla will win most of the battles, as he always has.
I've cooled a little on Tet but I still like this plan better than most of what I've seen suggested.Take Tet, the X receiver at 4. Then give the Vikings both third round picks for their first. Josh Conerly, LT from Oregon that the Patriots have met with a lot.
Two biggest problems solved. On paper.

This is the correct answer. This was a 4 - 13 team, need should have nothing to do with how we operate the draft.Question 1 for them to ask themselves: "Is there a guy in this draft we see as a starting caliber LT that we'd be HAPPY to pencil into the lineup for the next 5 years (not just okay with or amendable to it)?
If no then get off the train here. Any discussion of them taking a LT in the 1st should be null and void if that's the case. If yes, proceed to the next question.
Question 2 that they ask themselves while on the clock at #4: "Is that starting caliber LT the highest ranked player on our board?"
If yes, easy choice. Don't get cute, just make the pick. If no, next question.
Question 3: "If we take the LT we think is a starter for us, are we making too big big of a reach here? Are we passing on someone we think is an absolute stud prospect that we just can't rationalize despite the need at LT?"
If that ends up being the reason for passing on someone you think is a real solution at LT at #4, then start trying like hell to move up for him. If it doesn't happen, it is what it is. Keep scouting the FA/trade market and obviously pin in for next year's draft.

Tet is a bust, and you have absolutely no clue what is costs to move up to 24. 36+69 is almost even with the Vikings getting a little favor. They know we are desperate for a LT and would want more. Your both 3rd picks is a total joke.
Simmons will probably play 1/2 next year, we'll have Lowe or some other bum until then Huck.
Simmons and Conerly jr are both expected to go in the late first round (#23-32), so they are options for a trade UP from our second round pick. I can’t imagine a scenario where we pick either of them with our first pick.
There are also no QB needy teams who are picking in the teens. The lowest I can see them going with their first pick is #9. A double trade down is possible I guess, but would be very unlikely.

TET? *ROFLMAO* I find it amazing that you want a guy who is compared to N'Keal Harry. After all the blathering and hatred you laid out on that guy.Take Tet, the X receiver at 4. Seems hard to believe anyone would give up a 2 to get to #4 in this draft. I think the odds are high we stick and pick since there is no value in #4 this year in terms of a trade down unless we take 50 cents on the dollar.IF we trade back just far enough to draft Will Campbell (gaining an extra 2d Round Pick which will give us two), I'd then use one of those 2nd Round Picks and a 3rd or whatever would get us back into the 1st Round enough to also get Simmons (if they like his medical reports), or Conerly Jr. Then, hopefully get Jayden Higgins with our second 2nd Round Pick. That way, if Campbell can be a solid or better LT, then Simmons or Conerly Jr. can be a Swing Tackle/Backup LT/Possible flip to RT when Moses leaves. Or, worse case scenario, Campbell is put at LG and Simmons or Conerly Jr. get put at LT. Even if we don't get Higgins with the second 2nd Round Pick, we need to get one of those 2nd Round gems at WR (and NOT another Slot WR).
I just wish that there was a Joe Alt/Joe Thomas/Jonathan Ogden Caliber LT in this draft class. Because if that were the case, you absolutely take a LT of that caliber at #4 Overall EVEN IF Carter or Hunter are still there. That's not to say that a LT from this draft class won't prove to be within the next 3 to 5 years one of those young stud LT's that we'd want to get in FA, but that teams rarely ever let hit FA. It's just that coming into this draft, none of the LT's are rated as highly as the 3 that I mentioned.Seems hard to believe anyone would give up a 2 to get to #4 in this draft. I think the best you could hope for is a 2nd in 2026 or a 3rd in 2025 and not even sure you'd get that unless someone loves Jeanty and wants to jump in front of Raiders. Denver at 20 probably the first team.
I don't see anyone trading up for Sanders at 4 but hope I'm wrong,
