Hope Kermit noticed and squeezes the Chiefs for more. Lol

Both Lamar and Josh lost a golden opportunity last year the Chiefs was very beatable and the Bills blew it. Now let's hope Maye put us in the mix.

Lamar didn't lose any opportunity IMO. He just isnt good enough IMO. He always sucks in the playoffs.

Bills definitely blew it though. They should have beat KC. Part of this is on the refs for that awful 4th down call where Allen clearly had the first down but they gave the Chiefs the ball (that was at least 3 points gone right now), part of it is on McDermott for foregoing an extra point for a two point conversion, and part is on Kincaid for dropping that 4th down heave (still dont know how Allen got that off).

Bills blew it for sure. They should have been the team being stomped by the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

The refs jobbed them for sure, but I also felt as though the Bills were playing in a daze.

I'm coming for him...

Allen just got paid as well.

That’s a different situation. Buffalo was fine with paying Allen, Baltimore fought the idea of giving Jackson what he wanted for a year.

The NFL MVP...

Goodness gracious. You can always tell when a fan doesnt know what theyr're talking about and just looks at the "yardage" column.

Allen had 41 total TD's, 8 INT's, while going 13-3.
Your boy is overpaid. He had no business winning MVP. He also benefited from the NFL being the worst we’ve seen with guys getting injured, teams imploding and the overall talent being bad. Just wait until the league catches up. It was talked about all year his numbers were down because of the Bills lack of skill players. You better hope Maye is a bust and they don’t draft any impact players with their top picks as the Pats roster is already better than the Bills.
Just to be clear - we are talking about the game where, even if Andrews had caught the 2 point conversion, Allen had 2 minutes and 3 timeouts to just get a field goal to win the game.

Yeah, Bills totally would have lost if Andrews caught that 2 pointer *eye-roll*.
Andrews fumbled twice. Once previously in the 4th quarter down 24-19 when he caught a pass in Bills territory. That’s potentially 3 points left on the table where they wouldn’t have had to go for 2 later. Bills would’ve needed a TD to win down 29-24.

Your boy is Mahomes *****

Jackson is operating with his mother as his agent.. Allen has a real NFL agent.. Jackson was offered a great contract initially but he turned it down before ultimately agreeing on his current deal.. essentially QB contracts are going to continue to climb.. in 2 years Drake will be making north of 50 million.

Rain... your absolutely right. Just thought about our roster in comparison to the bills roster.. the only they have for "right now" is the QB.. we have a better HC, OC and defense. Diggs is going to help Drake become to top 10 QB this season.

I like your thinking RF2

If Maye is and becomes who we hope he is, and the rebuild is successful over the next 3 years, the Bills will have wasted a 5 to 7 year window to win a SB or two. And instead, will be following behind the Patriots again.

Bills roster has been trash for years. They only become "good" when Bill, Tom, Gronk and others left NE and Diggs was traded for. They had their window with a mediocre roster, but their roster continues to erode. Their major FA signing was an oft injured Joey Bosa. If Maye is the real deal, the Pats are going to overtake the division just like the Colts did to the AFCE in 1999. But I agree Diggs is going to help out Maye a lot.

I'll do you one better John. Think about the turn around teams can make from one year to the next. The way this team is being built and coached is to develop a winning mentality. Entering each game with the thinking to win. We aren't going to be a push over.. teams will have to bring thier A games playing us.

Football value aside, someone getting 1/4 of a billion dollars for playing a sport is mind boggling.

Try $15 billion.

That is what history's richest athlete, Gaius Appuleius Diocles, a chariot racer in Ancient Rome, earned over the span of his career, his earnings totaling 35,863,120 sestertii, or the equivalent of $15 billion in today's money.

He was the representation of Rome at its apex of power and domination.

But we all know what eventually happened to Rome.

Yes! They have a mediocre defense, and Coleman was a rookie but I saw nothing special about his game that says star in the NFL. They have an all Pro in cook.. but... ones thing is for sure.. Vrabel is going to eliminate cook, and make Allen earn everything when we play the bills.

I feel like we can sweep the Dolphins and the Jets this season.. I feel like Vrabel has the coaching abilities and game plan to stiffile Miami offense. The Jets take away Wilson and fields is running for his life. Diggs is motivated and hungry..

Well, it was actually 1:30 and 2 time outs left for a team whose offense was struggling in the 2nd half.

We have no idea what would have happened if Andrews catches the ball.

Praedicere Goodelles Culus!

Bills had scored on both of their previous 2 drives and each of those drives was 10+ plays long.

We have no idea what would have happened if Andrews catches the ball.

Exactly. Which is why its ridiculous to say the Bills "probably" lose if Andrews catches that ball.

Glad to see you agree with me.

Your boy is overpaid. He had no business winning MVP.

Your jealousy is showing and its funny.

If you want my honest opinion, Allen *should* have won it in one of the years he didn't, and Lamar should have won it last year.

For example: Allen had like 15 more TD's than Lamar in the 2nd year Lamar won it.

It was talked about all year his numbers were down because of the Bills lack of skill players.

uh, this never happened.

It was *predicted* that he would suffer from losing playmakers.

But then he went out and won 13 games while putting up 41 TD's and 8 INT's.

Andrews fumbled twice. Once previously in the 4th quarter down 24-19 when he caught a pass in Bills territory.

No, he fumbled once.

And its not like he just dropped the ball. It was PUNCHED out. Great play by the defense.

Nothing personal against Allen, but this was one of the least deserved MVPs I can think of in NFL history. What happened was he took the lead early in the season and it just sort of stuck because he had a tremendous sympathy vote since it was "his turn" to win it and hadn't done so yet (compared to Lamar who had 2). It just boggles the mind how anyone can put:

307-483, 3,731 passing yards, 28-6 TD/INT, 531 yards rushing on 102 attempts (5.2 YPC) with 12 rushing TD's

over

316-474, 4,172 passing yards, 41-4 TD/INT, 915 yards rushing on 139 attempts (6.6 YPC) with 4 rushing TD's.

The ONLY stat Allen wins above is rushing TD's, but he still loses overall TD's 45 to 40.
