This thread is to bat around a consensus guess for wins. Argue, take the temp, settle, Argue about where our (or competitors’) latest moves put us.

Then we can check back to dunk on each signing.

I mean, seems like it could be a thing.

Could be a 9 or 10 win team if they get a left tackle and another wideout (maybe even if they don't - given how well Maye played last year with who they had and they didn't have anyone close to Diggs' level).

But if they don't get a left tackle, I'd say 6 or 7 wins. If Drake doesn't have the protection, it won't matter. It's still all about getting the offensive line right.

Like Troy Brown says, "Bingo". Agree heartily.

I think this team could push 10 wins with a good draft. Pick up Hunter if you can then an OT in the second and thrid round then BPA. Maye showed he can make the players he has good and he is very mobile, He will also have a year of working with most of his WR and MCD while trash as a HC is a proven OC and good with QBs

As it stands talent wise....7 wins.

If they screw the pooch, I mean draft up, then it goes down to a 3 win team.

But if they stroke it, i mean knock it out of the park draft wise and all the additions work well...we get to a 12 win team....a fan can dream right?

I just really can't wait to savor the cheating allegations/gates/fines/dockings we get once we are on track for Dynasty 3.0. Well I think we are on our way...seeing some wins that look like the well oiled 5 man machine (OL) we use to see every weekend would be great. Dominant OL play gets you a win. Impose your will. =)

I agree, they need the left tackle. But I think they will get it. 9 wins.

Pre-Draft: 7 wins.

Post-Draft: TBD

If they get some WR's and T's, they better get at least 9 wins. The diapers need to come of Maye and start winning some games. If they don't get more than 6, you can hit the panic button on Maye.

I’m in at 8 wins… anything more than that and you strap a rocket onto this team because it’s going places

10 teams won 5 or fewer games. We were one of them. None of the other 9 look like they really improved, arguably maybe the raiders because they got a qb.

We play 8 games against the other 8.

We play 3 games against teams that were better than 10-7.

Legitimate chance, with a good draft that includes a starting left tackle of winning 11 games.

Wow guys. I think I'm the pessimist in this bunch -- I am feeling 6 winnish. But part of that is a recent habit of discounting any WR no matter how proven. Yes people come back from ACL tears all the time... but now I'm feeling like "but not in New England." You get the idea. The wandering in the wilderness has not been kind to my impressions now that The Run is over. It feels like the only sex position you should be allowed to use as a NE coach now is woman on top bc all they can do is F up. Boo hoo. I love seeing the reactions here - pleasantly surprised.

One more WR and a LT = yes please, 2 more WR and (yet more) help all along the line - not just "less bad" options, but real improvements - that would be fantastic. We've got a good group on D but in today's game, your "scary" D gets exposed easily if it's on the field all the time. The backs have usually been a bright spot, but we've been victimized by trying to "install" a team a unit at a time... I hope the new team coming in fixes that.

But I am glad to see all the predictions of .500 and better... now I can watch the news & drink the koolaid!

There’s so much incompetence across the board in this league it’s actually sort of hard to be truly bad. I mean the pats were an absolute dumpster fire in nearly ever respect last year, still won four games and there was a handful of others they could’ve won. Being fully ****ty is kind of an achievement.

The upgrade in coaching this year is ridiculous. They will have a professional staff, and already have a big upgrade in talent. They’re in the 7 to 8 range now for sure. Depending on what happens with the draft, that could go up a game or two, and then a lot of it is luck. Plus Maye, who will have to actually win games this year

I'm optimistic that through the draft, and with the first half of the season as developmental, they'll fix the O line this year. "Fix" meaning being mediocre, i.e. average.

Unless they get lucky with Hunter at #4, I've no faith in the draft providing help this year at WR. There is both a dearth of high end talent, and mid level depth, this year. But I love the Diggs signing, and the impact he's going to have on the entire passing game and its personnel. Plus McDaniels vs. what they had last year...

The schedule includes enough poor to average QBs that the defense should generally be pretty good.

So 8-9 wins against a pretty low quality schedule.

I’m optimistic. Regular season, 10 wins. Beyond that, who knows?

I’ll also add…not that we have been as successful as them but the redsk…commanders. Look how fast they turned around. This year will tell if that was just a glitch in the matrix or if they’re for real. If other teams can turn around like that, why not us?
