If Cowden was the Man then Wolfe and Groh would be down the road.

Thunder is still in the Dynamic Duos corner.
These guys sign contracts and Bob hates to waste money.

I suspect Groh is simply in charge of scouting, and Wolf will probably be moving on when his contract expires.

We'll see. maybe he endears himself to Vrabel but I have no doubt Vrabel is in charge.

Well if he says they want to trade down their are giving their position, this is just standard answer for this time of the year.
Never tell anyone outside the family what you're thinking.

I doubt that NE will be picking top 5 next draft.

The Pats will do the opposite and draft need which is LT. The Pats have an opportunity to take care of that position for years to come. The player comes with a low salary for a few years. LT helps the run and passing game. The 31st ranked NFL offense isn't going to improve plugging in Jags on the OL and especially at LT. Pick 5 and get them working in unison so there is some sort of continuity.

There is no reinventing the wheel. The game is won or lost in the trenches. Just the way that it is.

Thunder is in charge.

It all passes through him. Wolfe, Vrabel, Cowden go to Thunder like he is the King.

So true, I'm banking on one of these guys falling to us. Two QBs will find their way to the top.
I wonder if the Patriots could trade up to 2 Vrabs is tight with Cleveland.
Or could we offer enough to get Giants to give up Hunter and drop one spot.
What would you offer to secure Hunter from 4 to 3?

Thunder has dementia.

Jonathan is in charge but he received a big wake up call last season and realized he doesn't know sht.

If truly BPA at 4, that eliminates Will Campbell

1. Hunter - the WR room looks smoking. Hunter/Diggs/Pop/Hollins/Boutte/Polk/Baker/Bourne.... very good top 3 and also very good depth.
2. Carter - nasty DL! Carter, Williams, Barmore, Landry, White, Chaisson, Jennings... OLs would have a hard time handling that while also trying to find a man open covered by Gonzo and Davis at CB
3. Campbell - plugs the hole at LT capably. Remains to be seen if he will actually be very good and defy his measurables or not but at should have a decent floor
4. Membou - the inverse of Campbell, incredible measurables but unknown if he will convert to LT well. At minimum he would be a fantastic Moses replacement after this year
5. Jeanty - many hold their nose at the idea of an RB here but he's explosive and I could see Vrabel wanting a weapon at RB similar to what he had in Henry at TEN.
6. Warren - one of my personal favorites if Hunter is gone, you still get a high end weapon in the passing game who is also a good blocker in the run game. Warren + Henry is a great TE tandem

Those are probably all the guys I would consider at 4. If the top 2 aren't there, I'd be trying to trade down slightly, but not more than 4 or 5 slots and not if the trade value is awful.

If hunter and Carter gone BPA is Jeanty, who I like but it really doesn't fill a pressing need. Lets hope it doesn't fall that way or we find a dance partner. Gross spot to be in...thanks Mayo!

BPA needs to take into account positional value.

There might be a case that Will Campbell is the BPA with a projection of an All Pro Guard.

Still have no idea what the source is. Please provide one

Ok I’ll bite…‘Kota from the tree is sick so Du Frommage (GC) gets this one…ahhh to not be sick…again…

same for Membau
Yeah both interesting concepts. Campbell and Membou are both potentially A+ players at positions that aren't LT (Campbell at LG, Membou at RT). Both players might be able to play LT at a high level also but it remains to be seen. At least in Campbell's case, he's been playing LT already.

Agree. Position projecting is kinda scary and draft position should be taken into account. With that said, system fit, proven positional flexibility, etc are all things that could increase the value of a draft prospect.

The first thing that stuck out when watching Jeanty highlights was his OL creating Grand Canyon sized holes. Maroney had those same highlights where he was running to daylight. We all know how Maroney reacted when he didn’t have perfect blocking.

Jeanty being undersized is going to hurt his stock.

Undersized because he is only 5'9? He missed Sanders single season NCAA rushing record by like 30 yards. Sanders was 5'8 203 coming out of college, Jeanty is 5'9 215. Will Jeanty be the next Sanders...absolutely not there is only Barry but I don't think his size is going to hurt him in the draft, he will be the 1st RB coming off the boards.

Yeah.. I hope after thr draft his role gets reassigned somewhere. I want cowden in wolfs role, Cowden speaks like a guy who actually knows what he's talking about and is actually convincing.

Where are you seeing all of these comments from their front office? Other than a couple of really vague quotes from Wolf I haven’t seen any of the comments you are attributing to Vrabel and Cowden.
