Then we have nothing to worry about. Vrabel won't pass on Hunter at 4 if he's there.Wolf won't be making the final call.

I think your right huck..He’s going to be the first tackle off the board.
A 5'8 203lbs running back is the greatest back of all time that dripped with talent and would probably go in the top 5 of any draft ever but to each their own.if a 5 foot 8 & 1/2 inch, 211 pound running back is the 4th best player in the draft, the talent level in the draft sucks ass

The Pats should not be drafting this high in the 2026 draft.Exactly. "We're not drafting for need" = ********.
They're drafting a LT in the first 38 picks, and very likely another one later on, and there's no amount of hot air that will convince anyone otherwise.
And dont get caught tetting in the rain. If you know then you knowThe Pats should not be drafting this high in the 2026 draft.
So, make hay while the sun shines and take the best LT on the board.
I'm not sure anyone drafted this year would start at LT this year. Maybe RT and then move to LT next year but unless Campbell can actually play LT none of the other LT prospects are likely ready to start at LT year 1.The Pats should not be drafting this high in the 2026 draft.

They need to come out of the #4 pick with one really good starter, hopefully they get an elite prospect in Hunter/Carter. What they can't do is overdraft a LT when better prospects are on the board. Just Take the highest rated player at 4.
I'm completely on board giving up one of the 3rd's to trade back up for a Simmons or Ersery.
The only person that I know whose opinion I would trust for an accurate 2025 LT draft assessment is Dante Scar.I'm not sure anyone drafted this year would start at LT this year. I think it would serve the Pats well to bring Scar in as a consultant and do a deep dive on the top 7 or 8 tackles in this draft. If I had to guess they probably have had some conversations with him already. The only person that I know whose opinion I would trust for an accurate 2025 LT draft assessment is Dante Scar.
And, even he could be wrong.
I don't recall even 1 so called draft expert staking his reputation on Mahomes being a 1st ballot HOF QB. Some of these Gurus predicted that he would be a BUST according to Chief fans.
I hope so because the Pats cant screw this draft up like last year.I think it would serve the Pats well to bring Scar in as a consultant and do a deep dive on the top 7 or 8 tackles in this draft. If I had to guess they probably have had some conversations with him already.
I have a feeling this draft will be different just like FA has been very different from the previous management. Vrabel has hit the ground running and it shows.I hope so because the Pats cant screw this draft up like last year.
Sure they got Maye, but what a sad haul overall when youre picking 3rd.
Jim Brown was 6'2". Love Barry Sanders, but imo he is behind Mr. Brown.A 5'8 203lbs running back is the greatest back of all time that dripped with talent and would probably go in the top 5 of any draft ever but to each their own.
so you want to compared a generational talent who was quite literally the best player in the 1989 draft, who would have gone first overall if Dallas didn't need a QB, to Ashton Jeanty from the Midwest Conference Boise State? Okay... cool, good on youBarry Sanders says hi.
yup, already been pointed out that because they are the same height, Ashton Jeanty's NFL equivalent is Barry Sanders... gotchaA 5'8 203lbs running back is the greatest back of all time that dripped with talent and would probably go in the top 5 of any draft ever but to each their own.
Jeanty might do fine in the NFL... might not. I certainly hope we don't find out by using the 4th overall selection on him
what is wrong with you? How is that possible? Jeanty is the same height as Barry Sanders... Good God Man!I like Martinez more anyway.
