Yes, that's it from the old days. Now we have rounded fence posts. This is how I see Kansas
I am from Kansas...
I'll take Offensive Tackle Cam Robinson please.
I loved Elijah Moore coming out of Ole Miss. He looked really good late in his rookie season before a quad injury ended his season. He’s looked decent as a complementary receiver playing with mediocre QB’s. Maye would be the best he’s had as a pro. Turns 25 this month. Works mostly out of the slot (61%) though not as often as Pop Douglas (82.9%). 5'10" 180 lbs. is not ideal size, but Antonio Brown was same height and only 5 lbs. heavier and he was able to align everywhere. I think Moore is more likely to sign somewhere where he can be assured of a top 3 role in the WR order of his team, but I’d be very intrigued if the Pats brought him in.Sign these guys...
OT - Jedrick Wills, Oli Udoh, Mekhi Becton
WR - Amari Cooper, Simi Fehoko, Elijah Moore, Terrace Marshall
DT - There's only really old guys, you better draft some
My dad is a huge Chiefs fan and he keeps telling me that he is so impressed with the Chiefs for staying good despite drafting at 32 most years. I AM LIKE MOTHER ****ER I KNOW.I'm sorry
Amari Cooper fell of a cliff last year. Both Cooper Kupp and Amari Cooper looked washed. But if they can stave off decline, Amari Cooper is the better fit by like a million times. But more important is judging exactly how washed they really are. Amari’s game, if he has anything left, just addresses more of the route tree and positional alignment we need more of
I don’t disagree, but the comparisons to Lowe last year fail to note that for the years before that, Robinson was much better. Why did he have an off year? Is he done or was he recovering from injury? There are a lot of questions there that need to be answered. But the upside is much higher than with Lowe and gives us a little stability going into the draft.Kind of surprised by the love this guy is getting. Lost his job and was shipped out, Not resigned by his new team either. He gave up 7 sacks, 52 pressures and 13 penalties on the season via 999 snaps. That’s right on par with Vederian Lowe who played 803 snaps, 5 sacks, 33 pressures and 13 penalties.
There’s a reason why this guy is not getting a payday. Character concerns whispers are out there and the fact that he played like ass for almost the entire season. 52 pressures? Do we really want the Pats to hand over the reigns to this guy to protect Maye? Maybe a prove it deal, but something tells me that’s a dangerous idea if he isn’t happy with his pay check.
Cupp wasn’t any better. His role just lends itself to being force fed volume of catches underneath whereas Cooper is more of an outside and further downfield guy so the statistical drop off is more glaring even if Cupp’s effectiveness drop off is just as bad. Cooper also played with a bad QB situation and then had to learn a new offense mid season.Amari Cooper fell of a cliff last year.
The question with Cooper Kupp is his health. But still last year he had 710 yds and 6 TD in 12 games. That is still on pace for 1000 yds in 17 games. I would take thag any day.
Sign Kupp, draft Ted (if no Carter or Hunter) at 4 and trade back up at the end of the 1st round to draft a LT
