Do the owners think the Pats have enough resources? You think the Pats have enough resources, but the Kraft's have never approached FA with that type of attitude. If true that would be great. I seriouly doubt it based on the Kraft's historical performance, but I hope I am proven wrong.
We have the resources. If the owner is unwilling to spend them that’s a different issue.

Also some players don't like to move especially if they have young families.
That can't be overlooked. His life is set there, his routine and his family's. The situation he knows vs an unknown in a new area of the country. Maye's gonna be good, but guys aren't tripping over themselves to play with him, unlike when... well, you know when. 3/66m with 44m guaranteed. There has to be a "we'll never spend this money" thing that goes on, plus he has value in that market that no doubt translates to more money.

Getting good people to leave good situations is a tough ask.

Very rarely, once every 5 years or so, has the owner been willing to spend.

Milton for PUKA !

The Pats will throw in Polk, Baker & Bourne.

Agreed. But if Hunter is available in R1, are there any starting LTs in R2 of the 2025 draft?

Aireontae Ersery but not sure you want to wait until the 2nd to hope he falls. He’s projected there but not sure if he falls to where we pick.

If Carter isn’t there, I’m picking Hunter. If Hunter and Carter are gone I’m trying to trade back with the Raiders or Jets to pick up an extra second and go with either Graham or Cambell. Maybe McMillan if his pro day is spectacular which I doubt. He better be a Mike Evans clone to justify the pick imo.

His scam was he spent to the cap, but did it the cheap way with less spent on bonuses and less cash spent. We used to have a coach/gm who could work around that. We do not anyone. If Kraft wants to win he has to change that approach.

We still need more edge rushers, he'd be an ok stop gap. Good annua sack production and over the course of his career, he's shown some versatility in defending the run and even dropping into coverage.

Freakin' quiet today, eh?

I’ve always felt he was a weak player who got abused mostly but every once in a while makes a play and gets overrated
