Tonga is just some depth with a little upside. They have a few dudes that kinda fall in that bucket - Pharms, Roy.

I mean. We do have to do something offensively right?

They can't once again totally disregard this side of the ball.
They just signed the Jets right tackle. Morgan Moses.

Nobody else yet on offense though.

Now that the Giants signed Rodgers, does that mean the Steelers are going to re-sign Wilson? If I am the Steelers, I might sign sign Mac Jones to compete. There aren't many better options out there.
I’m watching the NFL Network free agency show and right now they are showing Rodger’s as unsigned. Has a insider reporter reported this?

6'4", 338lbs

Average run defense grade, average pass rush grade. Only played 229 snaps last season. 934 snaps over 4 years.
Sounds like a career backup. But the size at 338 lbs is good so at the very least we can use him on obvious run downs and goal line package.

I feel like defensive line is sort of out of the picture now for the draft, at least on the interior.

I think that puts something like running back in play now too, beyond the obvious.
Depending on what happens through the rest of FA, I think they can draft another DE, a DT, a FS and a slot corner.

IDK, I think they're more screwed if he goes there.

Just imagine a locker room with Ahole, Metcalf and Pickens. There's no way that ends well.

Ahole can't resist blaming others, and those guys will bristle the instant he does so.

It'll be SOFJ on the Allegheny..
I lack the imagination.

Please make it happen so I can see.

Only big holes I see are FS, LT, and a #1 WR. The former could still be signed; the latter two will be hard to accomplish in free agency above an average level. The draft may fill one or both. They could feasibly go "best player available" and be okay.

Do guys "who can also play WR" regularly win the Fred Biletnikoff award for the best WR in college?
They do not.
They're elite receivers, typically.
Travis Hunter is an elite WR, the best in the draft, and anyone suggesting otherwise hasn't seen the guy play, and are just going on what they heard from Some Guy (tm).

FWIW, just saw a clip of Jamar chase being asked who the best defensive back he’s gone against is, and he said Carlton Davis.

I would take even an average left tackle at this point in time. There is a Grand Canyon sized hole in our OL and it starts at Left Tackle.

As I see it right now, rounds 1 & 2 will be:

1. Hunter then Ersery

2. Campbell then Jayden Higgins (if Hunter is off the board).

If Burden or Egbuka fall, then they could replace Higgins.

Odds are you get 2 players worth anything out of a draft so what you do with the first 2 rounds matters the most. Got to be best player available on offense unless a defensive player is clearly the highest rated guy left.

Ideal scenario for me: a 3rd for Aiyuk, Pray Hunter falls to 4, trade a 2 and a 3 to get up for Josh Simmons, draft a RB in the 4th. Doubtful anyone after that makes the team so I could care less after the 4th round.
Got a LT, 2 wide receivers, and a RB to groom as a Rham replacement.

Can't do it all in 1 year and they basically got 4 defensive starters and 1 backup on defense in free agency plus a hopefully healthy Barmore.

In addition still some time to add some O Line and safety depth in free agency. Cam Robinson still in play also,

There is a path to a good offense.
