the former packer David Bakhtiari who has played 13 games since 2021?
2021 - 1 game
2022 - 11 games
2023 - 1 game
2024 - 0 games

oof... I kinda know which way I'd go...

or is there a different guy?

He’s completely toast. Burnt toast.

Personally? I think Short armed Campbell is going to surprise people.
There's such a thing as being VIOLENT.
I THINK he's going to be a stud wherever he ends up.
We already have guys with 33+34", yet we haven't asked those guys to work outside.
Look at the team we already have

Ronnie Stanley - the much talked about Free Agent Tackle... you know, the guy protecting the blind side of Joe Flacco & Lamar Jackson since 2016... He's had some injuries, sure... but when he plays, he's pretty good...

You are absolutely kidding yourself if you think Baltimore is going to let him walk in Free Agency... They will re-sign him...

im not so petty to say i told you so...

oh wait, yes i am

told you so.

@gobesmug @stelfans here ya go.... another post to dislike

To state the incredibly obvious: They can't trot out the same caliber of OL next season (or anything similar) and expect Maye to not get metaphorically killed.

Agreed but we may have to accept that there are no replacements to be had

I've stated before that this wouldn't have been a surprise. It's definitely a set-back for rebuilding the OL and keeping Maye alive, let alone letting him thrive.
It is a "setback" only if you believed that Stanley was ever available.

I know that Cam Robinson looked bad with the Vikings, but I didn't think he looked that bad with Jags. He also looked good in 2023. Maybe his fiasco with the Vikes was just a one or 9 off.

I really hope they sign Jaylon Moore, he filled in for Trent Williams when he was hurt and he looked really good.

Did you not take reading comprehension in school (rhetorical question)? Did you miss the 'I wouldn't have been surprised" part. That's because I suspected that he wouldn't be available.

I have read multiple sources say that several people were measured with shorter arms at the combine than had been previously measured (senior bowl for instance). Are we giving this any consideration?

Scar doesn't think that arm length is a big issue. And, there are and have been quality LT's (and RT's) with arms below 33 inches. But, those are rare per NFL Stats (and in reality)

Not really… of course not.

It seems to be more than several but quite a few falling short of expectations. Cambell definitely is below even the newest baseline of 33”. For me, with the draft failing to offer a genuine guarantee at 4 at any position -barring a surprise- and free agency as expected being barren, I’m fully expecting either Cambell or Membou at this point and am at peace with it. Tackle needs to be solved.

Interesting read addressing this. Apologies if this has already been posted.

If Hunter is there take him else take Campbell . He is a LT. Membou is a RT and has just shot up because of measurables and lack of options.

Campbell will be all pro offensive lineman in one position or other. So it's a safe bet. I am thinking we will take Campbell only.

Sign Jedrick Willis, Oli Udoh and a third guy like Mekhi Becton or an old vet like Morgan Moses to be safe... check out potential trade options also. You can probably pay three of these guys for the cost of one Stanley.

Draft one or two OT's in the middle rounds... also address DL in the draft. Supposedly a really strong class.

I think we take a LT in the 1st or 2nd round (1st if we trade down)
But, regarding RT - people seem to be writing off Wallace. But it sounds like the new coaches believe he can compete for that spot, and maybe be the swing-T for both backup spots.
A veteran RT might be more attainable than a LT at this point - with most of the worthy FA's being signed by original teams.
