2025 LT

He is only 20 years old. Gigantic ceiling. The Charges drafted Alt last year and Alt played RT all season. Draft Membou this year and let him play RT for a few years and then move to LT. He is just a kid. The Pats need to work with athletic studs in the SEC (Membou) that are blocking college players that are 2 ro 3 years older. Absolute stud.
I've been saying he's the best tackle all along. I just ruled him out because he's a RT but yeah let's do it assuming we sign someone in FA. I believe he can add some strength to improve on getting bull rushed or stunted.

Add some strength? I thought he had one of the highest bench reps in the class? Also he is young, he will naturally get stronger in a few years.

I was not on the Membou like you. You saw it before me, but you are better than me at this, so that is understandable.

I just have nothing better to do with my time is all lol

Well obviously the level of talent in the NFL is a step up and while he's the strongest of this crop keep in mind the competition is piss poor with this group.

Can Wallace even beat out Lowe?
I would hope so. But we don't know what we have because he was injured for the year moving back and forth.

Not sure if you saw, but Lowe actually had numbers that were similar to Cam Robinson and slighting worse than Dan Moore, Jr.

I was referring to all the tRex arms vying for LT positions in 2025.

We just need the draft to get here already. I might not be able to keep my real job for much longer lol

I didn't see it, but what was Will Cambpell's arm and wingspan?

Just to point out, since I've seen this point brought up multiple times.

Will Campbell just turned 21 in January. There's less than 3 months separating the two.

Agreed. Campbell is a stud too. Do we want a tackle, Membou, or a guard, Campbell? That is the decision.

I still think Campbell can play tackle. He's got traits and instincts that Jackson and Raimann didnt/don't have, especially coming out. Not saying he is guaranteed to be a tackle. If arm length is the only true concern(other flaws are correctable), and guys with similar arm lengths can make it work, why can't Campbell?

Membou has entered the discussion but I wouldn't prefer it at 4. Campbell and Membou both basically displayed at the combine exactly what we expected. I heard it mentioned today on a podcast - don't count it twice. If you expect something at the combine but you already factored that into your evaluation, you don't count it again. We expected Membou to be athletic and powerful. We expected Campbell to be athletic but with short arms. I dont think your evaluation or placement should change much because they did what you expect. If Campbell had 34" arms, he forms a clear top 3 with Carter and Hunter. He's already been downgraded because we knew his arms were short.

Just my personal opinion, but Campbell is still OL 1 for me, although I know others feel different. Still hoping for a trade down. Especially if one of them is the target and you could get one at 6 or 8.

I think the wingspan was a surprise for some.

I'm all for taking a depth peice at gaurd/center.

We will need to break the bank to sign Stanley. I have no issue doing that. LT would no longer be an emergency issue right now. We draft his replacement and let him learn for 3 years and fill in if/when Stanley gets injured. Cam Robinson is the backup plan if we miss on Stanley, but we would need to be more urgent in finding a LT behind him. This is where Josh Simmons and his injury come in. Reports have him ahead of schedule, but he would not have to be if we sign Cam. If he is ready by July, let him battle Cam or just sit and learn and come in on rotation.

Membou is a RT. It is a huge position of need for us right behind LT, Drake's blindside. If Carter and Hunter are gone at 4, most agree that the talent level then just drops. There is little difference between 4 and 20 at that point. Plan 1: Trade down a few slots and take Membou. Plan 2: No one will trade, just take Membou. Stanley LT, Strange LG + Robinson LG, Andrews C + Strange C, Owenu RG, Membou would be a much improved line. We then have Sow and Wallace backing up. That is only 8 offensive linemen. We still have room for 1-2 more.

32 ⅝-inch arms, 77 ⅜-inch wingspan
This is true, but he is also one of the most athletic 320lbs 6'6 dudes ever and has played well against top competition.

Idk if he can play, but he has played lt this other guy has only played rt and has not started many games. I worry about combine super stars
