According to scout D Tet is no longer top 2
Did people start actually watching him instead of looking at numbers?

Tet McMillan is the only real candidate at 4. The other first round graded WRs are starting to be seen as second half or round one guys. My guess would be that we wouldn't take McMillan ahead of Hunter and Abdul Carter but if they go in the first three picks it becomes more likely that we would go with McMillan although a LT or Mason Graham would be more likely.
I would think, if we're taking a WR early in the draft, it would make more sense to look at 38. Perhaps one go the late first round receivers fall or they would look to Jach Bech, Jayden Higgins or Xavier Restrepo.
just judging by mocks and top 50s from people like Daniel Jeremiah and Dane Brugler and their like I'd say Egbuka is currently more likely to slip out of the first. For now at least, Golden is on an upward trajectory whilst Egbuka's rank seems to be falling. And if Jack Bech or Jayden Higgins continue their upward rise, perhaps they may knock Egbuka down further. Egbuka isn't an X, he's a very solid, high floor prospect. He's a chain mover, not a game changer.Could the Patriots snatch Golden or Egbuka in the early 2nd?
That would allow us to address LT in the 1st.
"Emeka Egbuka has been a draft darling ever since he was a Freshman at Ohio State. Every year, there has been consistent growth from the former Buckeye wide receiver, which made his return in 2023 so shocking to draft fans. Fast forward to 2024, and all season long, he showcased consistent route running and body control in a variety of situations. All the while, Ohio State marched their way to the National Championship. Egbuka is now poised to be a year-one starter for a team in the NFL and become one of the more consistent wide receivers in the league."

"Golden has demonstrated that he is a versatile receiver, capable of stretching the field vertically and working underneath coverages. This versatility enables him to fill multiple roles within an offense. An explosive player, Golden has recorded multiple games with a yards-per-catch average exceeding 20 yards. Additionally, his short-area quickness and natural instincts for the position make him a dangerous weapon for any team."

Bond was indeed nicked up late, but Golden was golden during the playoffs.Do don't sleep on Bond: Isaiah Bond he had bad wheels most of the year: due to an injury.
Need to take a good look at Bryant.Bech, Bryant, and Hunter high on both lists.
It's like all our minds were in sync lolNeed to take a good look at Bryant.
I have a thing about prospects who do the fundamentals of the position right. Low drops for a WR, no fumbles for a RB, TEs that can block etc and boy does Bech fit the notion of 'does everything right'. He really is as solid as a prospect comes.
Did Bond come unstuck during the playoffs?Bond was indeed nicked up late, but Golden was golden during the playoffs.

This forced me to look up Pat Bryant...
I must have missed the Polk rise last year?I like Bech a lot but he seems to be taking a Polk like rise up the board. Most people had him as a late 3rd a week ago. Seen him consistently in the 2nd now. By April we will have to take him at 38.
This is why I'd rather we got free agent WRs this year. Our track record with drafting them is just appalling.I hate that fn stat so much. Not because it isn’t a good measurement but because of this.

Just watching a video of Todd Mcshay's top 100 and he has Egbuka at 45th overall. So there's always hope.Could the Patriots snatch Golden or Egbuka in the early 2nd?
