dream scenarios -
A. jets, swap 7 and garrett wilson for the 4 spot for the honor of taking shedeur sanders...
B. raiders, swap 6 and maxx crosby for 4 so they don't get jumped by the jets...

then with the 6 or 7 pick, take the best LT available

I think if the draft were to go this way I'd be hoping one of the following falls to 38.

• Emeka Egbuka
• Jack Sawyer
• Tyleik Williams
• Wyatt Milum (for RT)

NB Yet to watch Nic Scourton.

Sign me up for Egbuka or Sawyer. Not up to speed on the others.

I think we need Shedeur to have a really good Shrine Game to encourage someone like the Saints to want to jump the Raiders. I like Campbell enough as a first rounder but he's not my no 1 pick at the position and I don't think he's worthy of a top 10 pick.

I don't think Shedeur is passing the Giants or the Raiders he's going to get overdrafted regardless...he's a QB.

Might be able to trade down a bit and still grab him.

Yeah, I'm not saying he won't be able to play in the league, I'd be shocked if he doesn't have a long career as a chain mover, but he is going to need to have separation schemed for him way more than I want a guy drafted at 4 to need.

Jim Nagy said some teams have as few as 8-10 first round grades on players so we can’t trade down too far unless we are really getting a bounty back. And you wonder who will be that keen to trade up in a draft lacking blue chip players.

I think the only way someone is trading up is if they are infatuated with Carter or Hunter.

I think Sanders will be over drafted. Ward and Sanders in the Top 4 means we get Carter or Hunter. Like last year we sit, wait, and pick whoever is left. That same strategy worked out well with Maye.

Conerly is tall, with a well-built, burly frame and long arms. A two-year starter at left tackle for the Ducks, he plays with quick feet in his pass set and mirrors well on the edge. He shows the body control and balance to recover when he is initially knocked back at the snap. He uses his hands independently to punch and reset, and when he locks on, he does a good job of sustaining blocks. In the run game, Conerly plays with good leverage and churns his feet to create movement. He creates lanes on kick-out blocks to his side. He covers ground quickly on pulls and movement blocks and is very effective in space, where he seals opponents out of the play. There are times when he gets caught leaning or allows his hands to get swatted away, causing him to lose his balance and give up the edge. He occasionally oversets too wide and allows inside penetration. He could be more aggressive with his hands early in the down, and there are plays when he punches too late and allows opponents into his frame, where they can control the rush.

WHY HE COULD RISE

Conerly’s an athletic, well-rounded left tackle with the blocking chops to start early in his career.

WHY HE COULD FALL

He gets caught leaning at times and is still developing as a hand fighter.
