Good luck to him picking up McDaniels' offense.
Let's be clear, players have the responsibility for learning and getting better. NOT
=======
The staff brings in players to develop. Judge the COACHES on how well they develop and use players.

Many, many players will NOT have more talent this year compared to last. Many WILL perform better because of better coaching, probably including Baker.

Even under Bill... Bill's circle of trust contracted so much after Mangini.

I guess the hand wringing that this is a jete-level organization is probably not accurate. Some posters will have to change their tune. Maybe.

Never going to happen. Some here whined throughout the entire Dynasty Era. If you were unhappy going to 9 Conference Championships and winning 6 Lombardi’s then you are never going to be happy.

Of course everyone including the announcers knew it was best for the Pats to lose against the Bills. Everyone but Mayo.
I personally feel Mayo knew he was canned already... that played a part in it..

I don’t know about Baker. If the reports were true that he didn’t understand Van Pelt’s playbook then I don’t see how he learns MacDaniels.

Last season like Vrabel said everyone is given a clean slate. If he doesn't adapt and get with the program he won't be here. He's got talent.. he needs to apply hard working, studying and commitment.

Some players think they are so talented they can just continue doing what they were doing in college and they will be fine. It's just not the case.

Tyler Vrabel (born June 24, 2000) is an American former football offensive tackle who currently works as an assistant offensive line coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons after playing college football at Boston College.

Assistant offensive line – Tyler Vrabel
So he hires his kid who had one year in the NFL and appears to have no coaching experience. I cant imagine the roll of Assistant offensive line coach is much but still looks bad optically.

Agreed. Like coach says removing entitlement. On baker I absolutely love his confidence but he needs to hit the field in the offseason with Drake and sink his head into the play book

Let’s hope last years’ draft crop realizes that now, and will take advantage of the clean slate that Vrabel’s hiring brings.

This is another benefit of replacing an underperforming coaching staff, and last year’s crop has the advantage of seeing a year in the NFL.

Let’s hope many/most of them take advantage of this reprieve.

Reminds me of the Belichick's. BTW not a single news outlet has reported this.
