Look no further than Missouri’s stalwart RT.

Pray Armand Membou is still available at the end of the first round so the Patriots would have the wherewithal to nab him. Two third-rounders.

Counting on Caedan Wallace there is not sound policy. Shoring up the OT position is the top need for the franchise

The weakest starter not just on the Patriots but perhaps in the entire league was Demontrey Jacobs. He was even worse than Ben Brown.

6'3 too short for a Tackle sorry State...pass on Isaiah Wynn Jr.

State: a guy who we should look at @upstater1 pointed him out OT Marcus Mbow: you picked the wrong bow.

I really like Mbow but (apparently) he's only 300lbs which is why he's getting talked about as a center.

The Green light to MacDonalds or Burger King should fix that: or chain him to the Refrigerator.
I don't think the Burgers will help with what I think his greatest asset is which is mobility and athleticism

Actually Membou is excellent too!! HAHA.

Mbow, Membou and Conerly are the 3 guys who can get to the edge and prevent outside pass rushers from getting to Maye.

I have much less faith in Ersery, Emery Jones, Milum, or Cameron Williams.

Milum is clunky and a little uncoordinated. Emery offers less in all aspects. Ersery is really good in the running game but he's a bit of a lug against the pass rush.

Cameron Williams is the most interesting one after the top 6 guys. He has the potential to be one of the best tackles in this draft. But he's just like Dawand Jones or Trent Brown. He has the potential to be way way overweight. He is down from 370 pounds in one year to his current playing weight of 335. Who has faith that he's not going to balloon again?

I believe I read that he gave away 16 penalties last season. At this stage of our roster building he's just too much of a developmental risk. Plenty of upside but it will be a while until it's realised if at all.

"Membou is incredibly underrated, but he plays with exceptional control, athleticism and finish. He would give San Francisco an ascending player with guard-tackle versatility." ~ The Athletic’s Dane Brugler
Membou is Onwenu’s body but with Strange69 athleticism. And the looong arms help compensate for the short stature.

Brugler in his latest mock has him going number 11 to San Francisco!

@manxman2601 can you share a link to get penalty stats for the OL prospects, thanks!

Not unless you have PFF Premium stats I'm afraid. I can give you some key ones:

1. Cameron Williams - 16 (the worst amongst draftable OL)
2 Will Campbell -9
3. Emery Jones Jr - 9
4. Anthony Belton -8
5. Marcus Mbow - 7
6. Tyler Booker - 7
7. Wyatt Milum - 5

All other key OL are 4 or less. Ozzy Trapilo of BC has zero.

Ultimately it comes down to the draft board, but I wouldn't prioritize drafting a RT. My overall approach at OT (left and right) would be:

1) Spend whatever it takes to land one of the starting caliber LTs in free agency (Ronnie Staley, Dan Moore Jr, Alaric Johnson, Cam Robinson)

2) Splurge on a veteran stop gap RT like Morgan Moses or maybe a trade for Conklin in CLE

Get starters via free agency. Wallace developed behind the scenes to hopefully take over for the stop gap RT next year. If there's someone they think is a franchise LT on the board at #4 or later, go for it, but they don't have to force it this year specifically.

If they absolutely love someone as a RT prospect then go for it, but it's not a position I feel pressure to force. In general I think OT is one of those spots that gets over drafted later. I'm a big proponent of BPA and I feel like with the premium positions like OT, when you get into day 2 and day 3 you're looking at prospects who are on the board because of flaws in their game. Whereas with "devalued" positions like Center or RB or Safety, you're looking at guys who are better projections at their positions but still available because positional value knocked them down. We're so devoid of starting caliber talent across the board that I'd want to fill as many positions with higher talented players as I can, even if they're the "less important" positions.

I strongly agree with this too.

Armand Membou looks like a really good athlete though for RT. Our Tackles were bad and Caedan Wallace doesn't move like Membou. IF Maye get's Good protection on the outsides we are challenging the Chiefs.
