(According to “Dakota in Braintree”) Mayo legal action vs Kraft?

WTF has this forum come to, where some members not only feel compelled to quote an anonymous narcissist whose claim to fame is calling into sports talk radio daily - but to also act as though this same person has "inside information" about the Patriots or alleged legal matters, and that their ramblings are actually worthy of respect and consideration, and deserve their own thread?

Come on, seriously?

Jerod should have been fired after he spilled the orange juice at the AFC coaches breakfast in March.

On day one, when Mayo opened his mouth, we knew this was a terrible hire. You have character issues if your most important thing was skin color and running a team with DEI principles. I won't be shocked if he's accusing the Patriots organization of "racism"

How could anyone hearing Mayo talk of his time at Optum think hiring him could ever turn into anything but the kind of fiasco we are witnessing?
Kraft probably trying to ride the woke DEI train to get politically correct social points instead of hiring a head coach on merit. It backfired and many of us aren't shocked

Well I mean we all know that Braintree is the Center of all news
And having a dogs name puts you in the forefront of the leaks

Does this mean I can't post about how Eddie Andleman shaped my future as a hotdog eating connoisseur?

Don't care....it won't affect the players, coaches, front office, and the salary cap....

It will just cost Kraft some money more or less....

I only hope that if they need to call team personnel to testify that it is done in May-June.

As you note, there is the risk of distraction if team members are called to testify. The whole thing could further alienate any players who are resentful about how the Mayo era ended.

Right, and my point is those bridges are easier to mend when you're a great coach. Flores has other advantages over Mayo: some of his litigation has merit (arguably: the Brian Daboll incident, for example, or being bribed $100,000 to lose games -- I believe his account).

Otoh, Mayo is a terrible coach and an childish person with toxic traits. There's a huge gap between the two in terms of returning to the NFL (let alone a HC spot). I will be astounded if another team lets him in the building, event to manage equipment. But you never know, I guess. Maybe he goes to another league and figures things out.
So your point is that Flores losing record as a head coach is better then Mayo's losing record as a head coach and therefore that makes this different. Ok.

Am sure some players are resentful, but Vrabel and the new coaching staff had nothing to do with it....so it won't be a problem.

Players play for owners that they don't like all the time...(shrugs)....

lol, good luck Jerod.

If this is true and Mayo wants to coach again at some point then this is either a really bad idea either on his part or he got some bad advice. He’s getting paid anyway for a job that he wasn’t qualified for and it showed.

Wtf happened to having "integrity"? Dude failed at his job, got bought out for 10whatevermil, and is complaining and going to sue? Really? This shouldn't even be brought before the court.....Why do we get canned for whatever reason and its ok, but he failed SPECTACULARLY and somehow thinks hes owed something? I bet somehow, the NYFL finds us somehow culpable and docks us that 1st rounder plus next years due to us not taking the "rooney rule" serious also....****storm incoming along with SJW and dynasty hate....they are trying to take the focus off the Chiefs right now and are going to focus on us "cheaters" and "big meanies that fire for no reason"...

I think most are just contemplating the possibilities vice actually believing the rumor. For some a chance to hammer one more blow at the whole Mayo fiasco.
