Too funny, they say great minds think alike. Unfortunately so do weak ones
I got interrupted in mid post, didn't refresh when I came back and hit 'post reply'
When our 130 lb Rottie wants out it behooves me to adjust my priorities

Doesn't surprise me and wouldn't surprise me if Glaser is helping him put together the case.

Mayo was a bad coach but I can see a situation where Kraft was misleading in support and time to get acclimated, then pulling the rug from beneath him.

I was legit thinking this since he's been fired; doubly so when Glaser left.

If true, this is a really bad move by Mayo. But, this seems to be par for the course with him.

He knew exactly what he was getting himself into when he took the job. He took it because he would've had to forfeit his rumored $10M buyout and ended up making a lot less in 2024. This is what he’s probably mad at.

Wilfork says he was set up to fail. If the roster were stacked, Bill would still be the coach. Lol.

Believe or not, just because players played the game, doesn’t mean they know X’s and O’s In fact, many don’t and only know their specific assignment as a player. He never showed this as an assistant to Bill which was a big concern to me.

Mayo was canned for many reasons. His lack of experience and X’s and O’s were glaring. He was babysat by Robin Glazer (who’s also gone) and had a very hard time putting a staff together. The weekly blunders with the media and constantly throwing players under the bus was another. The nail in the coffin was him trying to win a meaningless game which wrecked their draft position.
Any chance Robin is his lawyer in this action? ...

i once played falstaff in Henry IV, part 1...

you know, falstaff, the john belushi of shakespeare...

Meh, more like the Jim Belushi of Shakespeare

I'd give your Shakespeare chops more respect if you were entrusted with portraying The Porter from Macbeth, that dude was the George Carlin of his day

Is it Mayo, or Mrs. Mayo, that wants to sue?

EDIT AFTER THINKING ABOUT ROBYN’S ROLE IN THINGS: and perhaps, which Mrs. Mayo?

My guess is that Mayo is suing for the media that Kraft created with the negative stories that were coming out about Mayo.
That makes the most sense to me, I hope and highly doubt that Mayo has any proof of Kraft wanting to tank the last game.
At least I hope he doesn’t.

The relationship with Kraft and Mayo should be studied.
It was forged and bonded to the point Kraft would push out the Goat coach cause he was afraid to lose what he saw in Mayo.
To the splash of cold water that got thrown in Krafts face that he greatly misunderstood how unprepared and undeserving Mayo was to run a football organization.

It also shows Krafts commitment to the team and the fans when he saw the product he subscribed to would never be great.

When you put it that way it sure sounds like enough moving parts to get a semester out of.
Although if we give it a bit of time for the wound to heal over it might make a better Coen Brothers movie

I guess my post was more about burning bridges with lawsuits then quality of coaching.
Right, and my point is those bridges are easier to mend when you're a great coach. Flores has other advantages over Mayo: some of his litigation has merit (arguably: the Brian Daboll incident, for example, or being bribed $100,000 to lose games -- I believe his account).

Otoh, Mayo is a terrible coach and an childish person with toxic traits. There's a huge gap between the two in terms of returning to the NFL (let alone a HC spot). I will be astounded if another team lets him in the building, event to manage equipment. But you never know, I guess. Maybe he goes to another league and figures things out.

Lol when I saw Flores’s name I had a crazy but frightening thought..hopefully Mayo has no texts from the Krafts about tanking the last game ala Stephen Ross. Bad time to lose draft picks…
I was ignoring the whole situation until I read this and then realized it can actually get worse and impact the team.

Coaching the coach?
The absent minded Coach
The season of treason
the imposter
The Judas who blew this
say no to the Mayo
A trip to forget
Jerod the fraud
What in the f@ck were we thinking.
Guess who’s coming to coach
Dude where’s my coach?
Dangerous minds
The substitute
Dumb and dumber
Liar liar
The longest yard.
The hangover

alas, MacBeth was off the table

And THIS is what makes PF the joy it is. The Bard, sports radio, a mediot wannabe, comedians (intentional and otherwise) and a classic sports talk icon recalled 25 years after his death all in a quick interchange without even having to go to a bar for it
and jim belushi? aww man, that hurts...

My Dude, the downgrade was for the criminally over rated character of Falstaff not a commentary on my regard for your talent

This is what I'm sayin' there's gold waiting to be mined here
