When will the Pats break the “can’t draft a WR” curse?
What if the grocery shoppers adopt a new way to compile a list and do the shopping?Simple: when there is an ENTIRELY NEW SET OF GROCERY SHOPPERS IN THE BUILDING.
I've said on here before, that until the team starts to get back to its winning ways, it'll have to overpay for FA's. If Higgins checks-out medically, I'm fine with overpaying for him, which I wasn't with Ridley because Higgins is much younger. I agree with Godwin/Cooper (too old and we need a FA WR that can be around for several years and hopefully draft WR's (and other positions) well. They would have done better to draft Watson at #29 and then trade up for Strange or whomever they could have gotten with their second pick. But the issue is what to do now and Watson unfortunately isn’t an option. I’m OK overpaying for Higgins, I don’t see Godwin or Cooper as the solution but if they are brought in I’m onboard.
"Opposite George" Theory applied to Wolf & Groh.....What if the grocery shoppers adopt a new way to compile a list and do the shopping?

Problem just got worse.Patriots Hire Former OC Josh McDaniels
The New England Patriots are continuing to turn back the clock. After hiring Mike Vrabel to be their new head coach, the Patriots have now brought back anotherwww.si.com
Kendrick Mourn couldn’t carry Tee Higgin’s jock strapYour Tee Higgins is a smidge better than Putrid Bourne lost me Wozzy. Trying to find my way back with a compass and magnet.
He didn’t think we had an offensive line problem last season either. In summary Wozzy thinks the Patriots don't have a WR problem.
How?? I really don't understand anyone who's against McDaniels coming back. I look at this as all positives.Problem just got worse.
Pats have problems drafting WR's. McD's system is hard for WR's to pick up. The problem with the Pats drafting and developing WR's will continue. How?? I really don't understand anyone who's against McDaniels coming back. I look at this as all positives.
We have Maye this time around and not the GOAT. Moss - LaFell - Welker - Amendola and Jabar Gaffney didn't have a problem picking it up. So arch quit your McDaniels hate... I mean it.Pats have problems drafting WR's. McD's system is hard for WR's to pick up. The problem with the Pats drafting and developing WR's will continue.
One minute its looks like Bourne is retiring, the next he's recruiting for us.
Josh wasn't the guy picking the groceries ARCH, this is a totally different regime with Vrabel at the helm.. this will look like a functioning operation this season.Pats have problems drafting WR's. Cooper at 31 is too old, Godwin at 28 has some years left but his problem is injuries. It was discussed in another thread but if we could get Godwin on a good deal I would bring him on board but just adding him will not be enough.I've said on here before, that until the team starts to get back to its winning ways, it'll have to overpay for FA's. Kupp is a nice addition when you have another guy on the outside.. he would be excellent if we could get him for say a 4th or 5th rounder. We need at least at minimum 2 WRs of impact.. we have all the 3s and 4s a team needs.. how about some 1s and 2s..Cooper at 31 is too old, Godwin at 28 has some years left but his problem is injuries. Agree....I was looking and his production this year was similar to 2023 but my concern is his age at 31. Do we take on a guy that you may only get a year of value play out of? I think I prefer Godwin in that roll if he can stay healthy and go get a true #1.Kupp is a nice addition when you have another guy on the outside.. he would be excellent if we could get him for say a 4th or 5th rounder.
