The leaky way of doing business is over. It may or may not be a coincidence that we stopped having daily leaks once Mayo and Glaser turned in their key cards.

I'm glad there seems to be a return to tight lipped professionalism. When something worthwhile happens we'll hear about it.
Could be a very solid hire and Vrabel could sell him on molding him to be a HC.
Let’s hope he picks Maye over Geno.

This is why people need to stop panicking... This interview already happened and it happened yesterday... People are freaking out because other teams publish who they are planning to talk to days in advance of ever actually speaking to them... meanwhile Vrabel is conducting business quietly and we don't hear about it until later.

Udinski made Sam Darnold look like a top tier QB at least until the last two games. That says a lot.

Sam Darnold Choked on the Big Stage like J Goff and K Cousins: Some QB's are not cut out for the Big stage. That's doesn't mean can't win you some game. I can't blame the OC there.

Something happened with Cam Robinson after week 14. From Week 15- the WC game, he got worse and worse. He gave up 11 hurries during the WC game.

I think that has as much to do with what happened to Darnold as anything. Which is why I mentioned that Robinson may be someone to avoid.

Hard to really think he's likely to be an HC candidate too soon, he's not even 30. And also hard to really give him much credit for Darnold... I'd probably credit the playcaller/HC (Kevin O'Connell), and then their OC and QB Coach, before I credited their Assistant OC/Assistant QB Coach. Sure he may have played a part, but probably not a big part.

Chalk that up as W in my column

@ 28 he has a ways to go for HCing Job I say lock him up now. Let him grow with Maye.
you’d be surprised if Maye explodes more or starts winning games, teams may see him as a guy you could have for 20 years.

He also is credited with winning 3 consecutives games with 3 different QBs the previous season if you recall.

McCown could be getting an HC job so we might have to dig deeper.

I present Grant Udinski

Udinski assisted in preparing rookie Jaren Hall, Joshua Dobbs and Nick Mullens, who each started multiple games for the Vikings throughout the 2023 season. Minnesota won three consecutive games with a different starting quarterback in Weeks 8-10 (Cousins, Hall and Dobbs) and finished the season fifth in the league in passing yards per game (256.4).
Just going to bump this and take all the credit for calling it now lol

K Cousins - Nick Mullens and Dobbs??

Albert Breer tweeted the Pats interviewed Vikings Asst OC/Asst. QB coach Grant Udinski for their OC position. He is 28 years old and considered a finalist for the Seattle OC job.
Third time (in 10 min) is a charm.

I kinda balked at this but I went and looked it up and Wikipedia reminded me Sean McVay was hired as the Rams HC at age 30, so I guess you're right. Only 2 years off. Granted McVay was a bit of a special case... but it's possible.
