This is where Buffalo will fall short imo.

I don't trust that coaching staff at all. Even tonight, McDermott inexplicably decided to stop pressuring Jackson. When it worked well for the first few quarters. The OC decided to go conservative.

If Bill Belichick was coaching the Bills next week, I'd pick Buffalo without hesitation. Bill always got the best of Reid in big games.
I disagree - until proven otherwise I pick Mahomes over Allen everyday and twice on Sunday. He plays big in the killer moments. Allen tonight left them on the 2 to kick a FG - could have cost them the game. That is Allen. Brady and Mahomes end it there

Reminds me of Welker. Will redefine his career.
Patriots were up when the drop happened. And everyone just assumes a struggling offense gets first downs and ends the game. If the defense holds, or the offense does more in the second half, that drop is moot.

Andrews drop literally ended the Ravens season.

agreed

Lamar played well tonight. Not great. Have to give him credit for coming back in the second half.

But...he's the first player to ever win three MVP's and see zero SB's.
He’s won 3 playoff games since 2018, he rarely can get past the wildcard game. He’s Mike Vick… great on Tecmo Bowl, great in the regular season, can’t get past playoff defenses.

You have to be able to pass accurately from the pocket, make tight window throws and not turn it over in the playoffs…. he can’t.

Look at his passing numbers this year. It makes our QB play of the past 6 years look horrific
Almost all teams have been better than the Pats at QB since 2020.

Does BB win that game if he is coaching the Ravens?
He's not infallible, obviously, but he does have a .750 playoff record. Much better than 4-7.

There's a ton of talent on that Baltimore team. I especially love their OL and DL and the entire defense. Lamar is fantastic.

Is it the coaching that lets them down? It very well may be.

Another team that is always looking to play too vertical. You don't need the homerun. You have the advantage in terms of talent. Wear them down.

Last year they did.

But they only had to beat Houston to get there.

2012 he still had that great Ravens D that was there before he arrived. Once they left, he really struggled.
Thanks for the correction. I didn't remember they had the #1 seed last year, I was only looking at the game by game record.

It was just a different time in the game BUT if Welker catches that, it was game over. I remember the refs saying that to each other.

Why? Because the Giants were out of timeouts. 2 plays take us to the 2 minute warning.

Then you run another play, call a timeout. And the Giants have one minute to come back.

If you get another 1st down, it's game over.

Mark Rypien coming out of retirement if it’s Bills-Commanders? Lol

Ravens should hire Mayo. Never lost a game in the postseason as a coach… has to be better than a guy who lost 7 like Harbaugh amirite?

Harrbaugh is the most overrated HC in the NFL. He lived off the team built before his arrival and was on the hot seat before Jackson started in 2019. He has carried Harbaugh since.

Jackson is not the one to blame tonight. Mark Andrews ****ed up twice and then you have Harbaugh’s idiotic decision to go for two in the 3rd quarter. When will HC’s knock this **** off?

Pats had a ton of momentum on that drive and they most likely would’ve ended the game.

But Welker did it again the following season against the Ravens when the Pats led 13-7. They were about to go into Ravend territory when he dropped a 3rd down pass. They never recovered after that.

These two plays have had a big stain on Welkers awesome career with the Pats.

Andrews has 4 drops for the entire year and 2 of them were from tonight. It was simply unlucky. Living in MD, everyone right now wants him gone. He's a good player. Would be an instant upgrade over Henry. Pats should try and trade for him.

Completely agree. Andrews is a very good player. They did not lose because of him. Even if he ,makes that catch Bill still have 1:33 left and 2 time outs to kick the winning field goal.
LJ's fumble was just as costly.

Other than the one fumble he outplayed Allen by a wide margin.
I think teh game plan was idiotic and why they just did not keep feeding King Henry the ball, I will not understand. Poor coaching and offensive play calling cost them the game..not Andrews and not LJ.
The ravens are a much better team talent wise.
