We should understand that almost any hire would be someone who was fired somewhere else, is out of the game, OR someone who is getting a promotion (you know the position coaching with no coordinator experience). If the hire is a lateral, then it is someone not very important to the team or else they would require compensation (certainly, they should).

If we want someone who is doing a great job somewhere else, we would almost for sure have to give him a promotion.

In some sense, that is why there is such redundancy. We have passing game coordinators, running game coordinators, advisors. and assistant coaches for a reason. We need to have folks who can step in and help if someone is not quite up to the job.

Let’s see… looks like Adams was traded away after team drama, the group finished 1 game out of being the league’s worst, and Pierce was fired after 1 season.

I guess it wasn’t Josh’s fault…

Actually, it was, including his hand-picked Grocery Shopper & coaching staff... Others too of course, plus ownership...

In terms of blame pie for this franchise's malaise i'd allocate about 1% to her

I don’t think Evan was trying to say Marcus Brady would be “the guy” with that tweet. I think he was saying that Brady “checked the box” for the second Rooney Rule interview, which means they can hire someone imminently. Not necessarily Brady.

The issue with LaFluer is he doesn't call plays. I would prefer to see experience in most coaching positions this year. I think this team needs it.
