So now I'm starting to think maybe Dave Ragone is the hot OC we need.
Love that Rams offense, but Ragone has been QB coach there for one year, replacing Zac Robinson who left last year to become the Falcons OC. Ironically Ragone's previous job was the Falcons OC for 3 years before he was let go after Raheem Morris took over and hired Zac Robinson to replace him.

Vrabel had a good point on WEEI this morning. He was asked about getting an OC who would be here a while and they wouldn't have too much turnover at the position.

Vrabel essentially said that he isn't that worried about that and the main concern is that he just wants to get it right, and that it's a production business. His point was that if you make a good hire and things go really well, then yeah your guy might leave for other opportunities - but that is OK, because hey, that means you had a great season. And hopefully you will have guys to promote or if not you will have other qualified guys externally who will love to come take the job after you just had a big year. Whereas if you get it wrong and have a bad year, you're firing the guy anyway. So trying to be "safe" is potentially just dooming yourself to Option 2.
Yeah so Josh would seem like the safe choice and IMO not the right one.

Hell bring in McCown and Ragone and let them flip for the title of OC LOL

I'm betting that is how it will go.

Arthur Smith needs to be kept and eye on (if he doesn't go to the Jets as HC)

Ragone was Arthur Smith's OC in Atlanta

Curran succinctly compared/contrasted the "BB" way to the "Vrabel" way

BB- "This is what I want and this is how you need to do it. If you won't, or can't do it, or don't like it, leave".

Vrabel- "This is what I want and here is WHY. Is this possible? Can you do it? If not, do you have a better idea?" <Vrabes then lets person give it a shot. If they fail, they are gone>

I'm not sure Bill wasn't to that extreme but I can see the differences in styles.
I think Curran was talking about he is treated by both.

Woke ****.
I had never seen that article before; felt like I was reading the book version of Office Space. So many buzzwords, credos, and soulless corporate speak.

I’m picturing the practice field. “Now Milton, if you can just go ahead and try not to overthrow that wide receiver, that would be great. Ok?”

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go; I’ve suddenly gotten a craving for some extreme fajitas.

Now that the Vikings are out we can talk to McCown but not Ragone.

On the DC hunt Terrell Williams is an option but does the fact that Aaron Glenn already rejected us does that mean we've been "black" listed? Pun intended.

I thought it was interesting that Vrabel made the point that he couldn't talk to some coaches because their teams were still in the playoffs. I wonder if he was referencing McCown.

They can talk to Ragone this week, they just can't hire him. Same for McCown. Difference is McCown can be hired as of January 20th, but Ragone can't be hired until his team is eliminated (which could also be by January 20th if they lose this weekend)

Bingo....and Smith will go after him to be OC in NYJ

Strike hard...strike fast

It's going to be Josh and I'm fine with that, he could really help The Drake.

The asterisk symbolizes the north star, because, as Glaser said, the north star "constantly moves but it's something we always strive for." This is another core idea for the team.

Interesting. So the NORTH star, which is known as such because it always represents true north, and therefore cannot ever be moving, is actually constantly moving? What a breakthrough scientific discovery.
I know what he means, they have to adapt on the way but always want their eye on the prize, SB.
