We should have OC, DC and QB coach interviews done within the week in time for announcements in 8 days. I suppose Vrabel could wait a couple of more days if he is interested in anyone playing next weekend.

We should have almost all the positions coaches in place by month-end.

That's why I asked the question. Would having the Title of Assistant HC and going back to New England (and whatever other reasons) make a difference? I was just curious about what other people thought about it.

AHC is a promotion, but why would Flores want to leave the Vikings to come here?

No. Ryan never won because he thought being considered a tough guy and yardage ranking mattered most. So he played too aggressively, beat up on bad teams and did poorly against good teams unless his players played over their heads.

My guess is no
Flo wants a HC position
Vikings gave him a job while he was toxic a few years ago
It’s really a lateral position with asst HC to manipulate the rule
Unless he does not like it in Minny or really wants to coach with Vrabes

Just today on NFL Network they asked him about Vrabel to NE. He says Good I want to kick his butt twice a year
Just can’t answer the guestion it is Always about him

My big fear is that we're going to let him blow the 2 highest draft position drafts since 1993. In another 31 years, I'll be 87!!!

There is no capable GM in the NFL by your standards, as the vast amount of players picked after the first round don’t contribute significantly the first year, and according to you that means they are all busts. I realize that you did a better job scouting and selecting players than all the GM’s in football did, and you were only using your phone to scout, but I don’t think they will hire you, so I guess they are doomed.

Ryan hasn’t coached in nearly a decade. We have no idea if he can scheme and coach an offense against the speed and style of today’s NFL. Big pass.

Just skirt around it (but do it quickly), like every other team does, and they already did before getting Vrabel.

I’m wondering, if a team interviews one minority candidate and then hires them so does not interview a second minority candidate are they sanctioned for violating the Rooney Rule?

Polk sucks. I've been watching Wallace for 5 years now. He should never have been drafted. Anyone with a brain could tell Polk wasn't worth it.
