Yep this doesn’t tell us much actions will.
Will they stop talking money with Vrabel?

If vrabel has other interviews lined up it's not good and we might lose him. So tomorrow should tell us something.

Right, but we win with Weis and Crennel when both were preparing for other jobs.

Good point. Parcel's situation is kind of an outlier because he was a HC and secretly planning his escape for a lateral position. Weis, Crennel and possibly Johnson are slated to get promotions, in the open with support from their HC. Weiss and Crennel were ultimate football lifers who took pride in doing a good job. Assuming Johnson is the same, the only penalty vs Vrabel is a few weeks delay. As long as the decision is made for football reasons and not salary, it is ok to wait for the first choice.

Its pretty amazing that essentially pats are only interviewing 2 candidates (not counting Rooney coaches).
They better be pretty damn sure they are getting one of them.
Have to believe they had a wink wink understanding with Vrabel for months

On the surface the process seems to limit the teams flexibility and puts a lot of leverage into the candidates hands. Having an agreement in principle would eliminate the risk part, I also hope that they have been doing their due diligence during the season to refine their choices to these two. While both great options, it doesn't seem like an exhaustive search.
