I said I was done with the discussion, and I am, but since we're bros I thought it was rude to leave you hanging.

So outside the discussion I'm on record:

Bills win the Super Bowl- obviously I'm wrong
Bills make the Super Bowl - The Daboll discussion is ridiculous to have.
Bills make AFC Championship - ok McDermott gets another year, but he's still shown me little. You'll have excuses for the loss
.
If The Bills get knocked out by the Ravens in the Divisional round. What will you say? Will you tell me about some Josh Allen injury that is likely the result of McDermott's insane coaching.

Will you still be quoting me stats? Of course. You won't see what type of coach he is until he has a team without Josh Allen, and no one will care anymore about him. He'll be viewed as worse than Jeff Fischer. Everyone will forget or not care about the discussion.

In other words you're never wrong.

It is a bit ironic because you would never accept these results from a hometown coach who had Josh Allen talent. But that's another story.

I fanned up. I'm on record. When do you admit that any Brian Daboll could do at least as good or better than McDermott has done? What does it take for you?
I have made no excuses at all. I said a guy who took a team that hadn’t made the playoffs in 17 years and won the division in 21 who comes in and makes the playoffs year one and 7 of 8, and has won the division 5 straight years has done a good job.
You said, no he has a good Qb so he should have win the SB in his first 7 years and didn’t so he sucks. Which means just about every current HC sucks. Then I pointed out that he lost to better QBs each time, so by your yardstick he shouldn’t have won.

If the bills are playing in the divisional round their cus h did a good job.
I won’t tell you anything because no explanation is needed, his record speaks for itself.
let’s not forget you are talking about firing a guy for making the playoffs 7 times in 8 years and winning the afce 5 straight times, while pimping a guy who is 18-32-1 as great. Daboll has only ever had success when working fir McDermott, he has been pathetic everywhere else.

If the patriots had made the playoffs 7 of the last 8 years and won the division 5 years running I would be thrilled with the coach and praising him effusively.

If we got a wild card then went 6-11 then went 3-14 I would call for the Busch to be fired.

It’s almost like you gave this 100% completely backward.
I just realized, you are trolling aren’t you? You are just trying to how long I will okay along with the worst take I’ve read in months before I realize you are joking right?

If Bob Kraft agrees to allow spending up to the cap without restrictions we will have whichever coach we choose. If not we will be shunned by the top candidates.

Don't forget Tyler Warren. His versatility would serve the team well.
I love Warren at Penn state but I don’t see him succeeding at the next level.
I don’t think he plays fast enough to be a good nfl TE while getting away with it in college.
I would expect him to be best used as a FB like the guy in SF who’s names won’t attempt to spell.

I think Warren will be Dallas Clark 2.0

Ben Johnson’s my top choice. Watching the Pats play is supposed to be fun. Ben Johnson and Drake Maye woild make for some fun to watch football. Johnson’s play calling scheme and creativity would just be fun to watch.

The coaching staff was a clown show this year, so realistically any of Johnson, Flores or Vrabel as the coach the team will see a huge jump in the quality of coaching.

Winning is fun. Entertaining losses don’t do it for me.

Perhaps it is the Defense that needs a lot more help and focus than the Offense.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Winning is fun.

They should make fans do this because it is fun: After practice, Patriots head to The Hills

Let's do some math:

Just for starters I think we could potentially need a full reset on OL but also front 7. That's 7-5 in favor of D. Throw in 2 WRs and we're even at 7s. But after that I'd say he secondary needs more than TE or QB. But for now let's just leave this at zero.

Because from here I think it mostly comes down to what can we still salvage on OL and front 7? What can we get out of Strange, Andrews, and Onwenwu compared to Wise, Godchaux, White, Bentley, Barmore, and I'll even through in Tavai? I'll let everyone do their own math.

Some tough calls there and we're likely going to have to rely on several even if it's not ideal.

It’s not about who he wants to take, it’s about if those guys will all still be available 4 to 6 weeks from now when he can actually be hired and all the other teams have already been filling their vacancies
You don't think he already has things lined up?

The fact Ben Johnson has 4 other interviews after us, doesn’t bode well for it working out. The Patriots would have to tell him on this Zoom call they are leaning torwards him or are offering him the job.
Honestly I think it’s Vrabels job.
And I know at one point I wanted him to succeed Bill but never thought Tenn would let him go:

Either Vrabel or Johnson would be a massive upgrade. Both of them have their strengths. Both hold players to a high standard.
Both have successful track records.
It's going to be one or the other unless Kraft somehow royally screws this up.
I have no preference, they're both great hires.

That really doesn’t matter, these are all virtual interviews. He can’t accept the job from any of these teams via any of these interviews. He will most likely need to do a second in-person interview weeks from now with whatever team he ends up working for in order to take the job. I guess theoretically they don’t have to do a second interview but still, he can’t accept a job for weeks.

Vrabes had his in person. Not sure what that means but to me it indicates he's a step ahead in the process
