I remember that one.

I hear what you are saying, however I see professional and college coaches (not just football) throw tantrums all the time, basketball coaches are always losing their minds, especially college, baseball managers completely lose it sometimes yelling at umps.
Does a grown man with a multi-million $ job telling his 1st round pick that he doesn’t want him, that he doesn’t deserve to be there, and that he sucks make sense?
None of it makes sense. I think that was how Flores was wired after working with Bill. Just like how McDaniels, Judge, and Patricia were all assholes when they became head coaches. They all thought they could be Bill without Bill’s record. The players didn’t buy into it because none of those guys had a record to back it up. That’s why none of them are head coaches right now.
Flores is smart guy and he may still be able to become a good HC if he’s sees where he went wrong the first time, but I wouldn’t want the Pats to be the team that tests that out. I don’t want to risk Mayes development.
I wasn’t commenting on what Flores did or didn’t do, I just thought it was funny that you said so you think a grown man with a multi-million dollar job on the line just threw a tantrum because he didn't get what he wanted? Does that make sense to you?Flores rode him for 3 years. I don't think that's a case of throwing a tantrum.
It doesn't make sense to you because you can't wrap your head around the fact that it was a motivation tactic.
How did that work out for him?It doesn't make sense to you because you can't wrap your head around the fact that it was a motivation tactic.
It was not a criticism. They had no interest in hiring either guy. Thats just a fact.one man's skirt is another man's comply.
If Vrabel and Johnson won't come, you could have your wish, another coach on a very short leash. Flores would bring the Defense back to top 10 or better. AVP, McCartney and McAdoo could stay. This group would be a massive improvement.
I’d add Aaron Glenn. Detroit’s DC.Vrabel, Johnson, and Flores are the three coaches that I would probably be satisfied with hiring.
Is it it your view that people donlt do stupid **** when they are angry? Maybe you need to get out more.Did you play organized sports at all? How old are you? And when you played, we're they at the point of giving participation trophies? It's a serious question. I want to know what generation you are from.
Are all "motivation tactics" justified? Say I were to bust you in the nose to get you to do something. Would that be fine? What nonsense. In Flores' case, not only were his "motivation tactics" ugly and selfish-induolgent: they were ineffective. He was fird for cause. What is your real motivation for all this nonsense? Why not just put it out there, subject it to the heat of discourse, see how it holds up to scrutiny?Flores rode him for 3 years. I don't think that's a case of throwing a tantrum.

I was just saying I see it all the time.
So maybe he learned from that?
Here’s what Fitzpatrick wrote just below this tweet.
I'm not surprised.I don't even know what you're talking about.
I’d add Aaron Glenn. Detroit’s DC.
