The truth is the team had no clue what to do once he lost AJ Brown. It's funny to me that Patriots fans are crying about his GM in TN and then looking at the arguably worse GM we have AND the objectively worse offense we have and thinking they are going to avoid the outcomes he had his last two years.

If he says he can’t use them I wonder if Eliot is like ok thank you for your time as he turns sheet white.

I think Teams will see him as a Penix or poor man’s Maye.

He was the HC. It's his team. You have a solid QB who was at his worst above average, a HOF RB, a top 10 line, and you can't endure losing a top 5 WR without your offense ****ting the bed and your team getting dragged down? There's a reason Titans fans weren't shedding tears when he got fired.

He wasn't some victim. That's just Pats fans revisionism because they want him to be some savior. Unless Wolf performs a miracle, this will be the least talented team he's ever coached. And we saw how far he fell on the Titans with a better team.

The line was barely average as they lost some talent. look at what he is doing in BAL with that line, WRs and QB. Can't do well vs 8 in the box 90% of the time.

I think you aren't seeing the big picture there. Vrabel had zero personnel control. That is a fact.

It looks like Ewers is staying, and I heard today that Miami's making a run at Carson Beck to try to keep him in college, so that takes a couple of QBs out of the mix.

It has happened in the last 5 years, and no 24h news cycle will convince me otherwise

Every year, QBs rise up the board during the Combine. The fact is that the NFL needs new QBs to keep the game fresh, they will pump up everyone coming in, duing the draft cycle

That's why Im not too too bothered with losing the #1 pick. Sure, it sucks to lose on the "extra" 1st round we would likely get, but Im all in on getting one the 2 premier WRs in this Draft, Hunter or McMillan

I think they will know if they really love him or not this week and if he is worth waiting on.

If the Lions make it all the way to the NFC Championship but lose, Johnson would be able to declare that he has taken the Pats job as soon as January 27th, which is 3 weeks from now. Not TOO far off, but still puts you a bit behind the 8 ball as far as filling a staff out.

If the Lions win that, and are Super Bowl bound, then you're stuck waiting until February 10th to hire him... which is 5 weeks away. And only 1 month away from free agency. Kinda tough pill to swallow.

Means young QB prospects won’t be deep in this draft.
It only takes one GM from the top 3 or below us to come get their guy.
