Yes and I said that would move Polk and Baker to tackling dummies In practice. Was referring to the possibility of having Higgins and Hill on the outside.

I lean against McDaniels as well. It's just an added level of complexity. The system is becoming less and less prevalent as well, so even if McDaniels stays on as OC forever because no one will hire him as a head coach, it might still be tough to backfill assistants underneath him if they move on. It's a more complicated system for players (not just the QB) to learn as well.I have concerns about Josh landing the O C job for Vrabel. Josh seem locked in to his scheme (A&E difficult one). Maye seeme to like the west coast scheme. Why would we bring in a system that's hard to learn. We've seen many a veteran fail to master his system. Bring on the Johnson & Agnew combo.. Thoughts
I don’t think McDaniels becoming OC under Vrabel would burn a bridge with Belichick.I also wonder how many of these guys won't want to burn a bridge with Bill. I can't imagine McDaniels would turn down a head coach offer but to come back as OC again I don't know if he would want it if it was even offered. Feels like it is just a matter of time till he is with Bill at UNC anyways.
Johnson has been coaching for 16 years now as soon as he graduated from UNC. Mayo was a position coach for 5 years and never even called plays. For F***s sake, anyone trying to compare a rookie head coach Jerod Mayo and a rookie head coach Ben Johnson is just mind boggling. Take 2 seconds, Google each of their coaching history’s and compare the two. They are absolutely nothing alike. It takes literal seconds to google it. Johnson has put in the time and earned it, Mayo did not. Not wanting Ben Johnson because he’s inexperienced is one thing. But not wanting another rookie head coach because Jerod Mayo sucked as a rookie head coach is just plain f***ing stupid and you should probably go root for the Jets.
Vrabel failed at his last job and got fired. The idea that having a few years of HC experience and flaming out gives you a better chance than a new guy is just not real.Would rather see Vrabel than this guy.
They are hiring a head coach not an OC.
How did the last rookie head coach work out??
Vrabel got undermined when the top brass in Ten changed (based on what I know)Vrabel failed at his last job and got fired. The idea that having a few years of HC experience and flaming out gives you a better chance than a new guy is just not real.
He got undermined how? By them refusing to give him more power? What happens when he pulls that here and has to rely even more on a headcase like McDaniels who only can stay in check when Bill runs everything.Vrabel got undermined when the top brass in Ten changed (based on what I know)
just saying, I would be pleased with either one
Yep. Jon Robinson failed Vrabel by crappy personnel moves his last 3 drafts. Then Amy Strunk decided to be cheap and force Jon to trade Brown. Then she told him not to get TB12.Vrabel got undermined when the top brass in Ten changed (based on what I know)

Bro. Wrong guy to pine for. He's not coming here. He's going to a front runner organization. Philly... KC... Buffalo... Baltimore.I know some here are but: I'm not opposed... Tyreek Hill and Tee Higgins we can keep up in games.
and THEN she got jealous of Vrabel going to the Pats HOF ceremony and saying nice things about New England, and sitting in the owners box with Kraft, on his week off.Yep. Which makes Kraft story about teams hiring Mayo right out from under him a joke.Johnson has been coaching for 16 years now as soon as he graduated from UNC. Mayo was a position coach for 5 years and never even called plays.
...and people wonder why Vrabel had some particular asks of ownership and personnel decisions.and THEN she got jealous of Vrabel going to the Pats HOF ceremony and saying nice things about New England, and sitting in the owners box with Kraft, on his week off.

With the number 1 pick.Yep. Jon Robinson failed Vrabel by crappy personnel moves his last 3 drafts. Then Amy Strunk decided to be cheap and force Jon to trade Brown. Then she told him not to get TB12.

The truth is Vrabel had no clue what to do once he lost AJ Brown. It's funny to me that Patriots fans are crying about his GM in TN and then looking at the arguably worse GM we have AND the objectively worse offense we have and thinking they are going to avoid the outcomes he had his last two years.Yep. The good news is they'll probably draft Shadeur Sanders. With the number 1 pick.
