Been scouring info about Vrabel
From what I hear he likes Tommy Rees for OC
He also likes Ryan Cowden as GM
Rees takes concepts from everything, really a modern offense fusing lots of concepts together - which will really be something more akin to a college-style offense, but did work in Cleveland under the WCO concepts, so that's a plus. Honestly, that's ****ing fine with me. I'd love it if they kept McCartney on for continuity as well (and considering how the QBs played, would be worth keeping).
Cowden's also kind of whatever, been around for a while, not a nepo kid, mixed track record with the Titans and Panthers before the Giants, nothing horrible. He did have Darnold and Mayfield on the same roster before their ownership collapsed there, so there's that.
I think Highsmith will stay on in some form for continuity's sake, and because I think Jonathan trusts him.
In other words, fine. It will be a real NFL program, at least, and not some mish-mash hybrid of nepo-kids and people who went to Israel with Bob. Also, there will be full staffs, not the understaffed nightmare we've had here for decades.
Vrabel would be smart to keep Springer on too, they lucked out finding that guy.
