It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Though I will not be opposed to it, you want someone who has done it and understand how to install a foundation from the get go. Vrable knows what he will do differently, he knows what works, he knows how to lead men. Ben Johnson first go around will be like Mcdaniels at the Dolphins. Yeah, fancy offsensive play calls here and there but overall, not sure if he can lead yet. Having a leadership philosopy and vision for what the team is going to be is very important. Often, first time Head coaches have the imposter syndrome and that hinders them from laying out their vision and discipline. If they can pry Ben Johnson from the Lions, that would be a huge W
oh...thanks for the clarification. i thought you might mean a bowel movement.Give me ABM = anybody but Mayo.
I’m not against a Vrable hire, just would like to go with a creative, offense minded HC and I’m not sure any experienced HCs looking for a job are out there. Short of that, if MV can bring in an OC who is not Josh McDaniels, I can support it.Though I will not be opposed to it, you want someone who has done it and understand how to install a foundation from the get go. I could see McDaniels becoming OC and never wanting to leave. The two main things going for him:
(1) He's good at developing young QBs (see: Cassel, Jones).
(2) The odds of him getting a third crack at HC should be . . . low.
Like the one who won 6 SBs?Offensive guy please. I've seen enough of this dystopian ancient defense ground and pound defensive guys.
The rules do not lend them self to a defensive first team.
Like the one who won 6 SBs?
Nope
He won more than anyone ever has. The rules weren’t different in 2014, 2016 and 2018.His ground and pound defensive minded ball got him ran out of the league but yo, he was really successful in a bygone era under different rules and different kinds of players so let's keep doing it!

Mike Vrabel interviewed with Jets to put pressure on Patriots, could be eyeing move to New England in 2025
The ex-Titans coach has a history with New Englandwww.cbssports.com
Interesting article, which sources this tweet from Aditi Kinkhabwala (reporter for ESPN):
I will say - between Mayo's pressure from interviews and Vrabel having interviewed for pressure, there's a blueprint on how to force the hand of the Kraft's.
If the Lions win tonight, they can interview him this week. If they lose, they have to wait 'till next week.If they can pry Ben Johnson from the Lions, that would be a huge W
What part of his tenure as an OC do you have a problem with?McDaniels lmaoo
I forgot, you root for sucking and getting the first pick, of course you hate the coach who won 6 SBs.He's lost more than anyone ever has too.
What's your problem? It's over. Tommy did all he could for Bill.
