If you were keeping Mayo you’d definitely have told him to get this loss so that they get the top pick.

You can’t say Mayo only did badly because of a “lack of talent” and then purposely pass up the chance to collect multiple 1st round picks to add that talent

I get why fans want to believe this, but Flores is still suing the league over an owner intimating he'd be rewarded for a loss. It would not be spoken and, at best, would be vaguely hinted at. This is hopium.
