Tavai: “Booing fans should know their place”

I wonder how long he would have lasted under Bill if he said this during the dynasty years.

This team may be more unlikeable than the 2009 squad.

If Mayo is back next year, and presumably Tavai, then we fans should stay away while we do some introspection on what our place is.

Check back with us after the Krafts clean house.
Yeah it’s eye opening. We just gotta shut up and accept the current culture because that’s our place. We don’t make millions like them so we aren’t allowed to speak our mind. Tavai is clueless.

How hard is it to hide a sheet of paper? Sheesh what a loser mentality, give up without trying. You really know your place eh?

If there’s enough of them Kraft will see them, or at least hear about them.

They probably wouldn’t get on TV but stranger things have happened,

They’d almost certainly get some press mention, and likely internet photo posts.

Again, if there’s enough of them. Not if loser fans don’t try of course….
You sound like Mayo. It's good as long as you try regardless of results.

Where did I say I don’t care about results? You’re inventing that. Don’t go putting your loser words in my mouth.

I can guarantee you one thing: you won’t get any results if you don’t try.

Not trying is a sure fire way to lose, and that is what you’re arguing for.

btw, mayo, not trying a plan doomed to failure to focus on better alternatives isn't being a loser. Just trying to do something, ANYTHING because your feefees are running out of control is the very definition of being a child.

Hey though, I'm sorry I'm holding your campaign back. I had no idea that my post on message board was stopping you from trying. Please proceed. I won't stand in your way any longer. I get the feeling you won't be there with a sign though.

“There’s a reason why they’re fans … in the long end, they’re not qualified to do what Mayo’s doing,” Tavai said on “The Greg Hill Show” on Friday. I have a News-Flash for you Sunshine: Mayo isn't qualified to do what he's doing!!! I believe he just Gaslighted Patriots Fans with that statement as well. I want his ass out of town after the season too!

Unfortunately running him out of town would probably be giving him (and anyone else on this team), exactly what they want.

Lol. You give yourself much too much credit.

What’s holding me back is being 500 miles away with a fixed income and a car that broke down last week.

But who knows how many others you’re being a wel blanket for?

So it’s not our place to have thoughts on the piss product on the field and may or may not justify spending money on to go watch. Got it. Guess it would be no problem if the stands were empty then.

Good analogy. I wonder what Tavai would make of a silent stadium after a win of big play?

That's actually the problem. The NYFL learned during the coronavirus that they could still make a profit without fans in the stands.

To boo or not to boo. That is the question.

The full quote is a bit better, but I prefer Andrews statement. Fans are paying good money. This is different than booing Brady down 17-0 at the half
If I'm thinking of the same time I don't think they were booing Brady. I thought they were booing the conservative calls at the end of the 1st half.

like many have said - vote with your feet. I canceled my youtubeTV a month ago. I only got it to watch the patriots, but no longer going to pay $72/month to watch the garbage product on the field....
I still watch the Pats but no longer watch many of the other games. They all look and feel the same.

Just a reminder that these awful fans have only witnessed 2 home wins in the last 2 years.
The ST holders are the fans I think of the most. They put a decent amount of money into everyone's pockets up front and have no guarantee that they're getting back their money's worth, or in this case anything close.

I'm actually offended by the self righteous, better than thou tone of such a comment. .

Mayo has to go. He's indoctrinating these guys with ridiculous fantasies like the fans aren't in their place.
What exactly does Mayo have to do with foolish comments by one of his players. You think that because he allows them to speak their minds he's "indoctrinating these guys with ridiculous fantasies like the fans aren't in their place?" I don't see the connection.

I remember last year when both free agents and possible assistant coaches described the Patriots interview and selling process as the worst one they endured of all the teams they traveled to. It sounded like a full room and a corporate approach, although that's just from trying to figure out what the visitors meant from their descriptions. They all talked about how it drove them away from the Patriots.

Seems like the visitors absolutely sniffed out the dysfunction.

I'm a bad interviewee in the sense that whenever I sniff out a problem when the interviewers ask a pointed question, I will "go there" and ask them about their culture, even though I've been told never to do this.

I just want to save myself the time even if it blows me up at some places which might actually be right for me. I don't want bad situations. I'd rather get paid less.

The Patriots have a culture problem and that starts from the top.
That is it in a nutshell. I can't imagine that anyone would want to work for the Krafts. The last couple of years have been a real eye opener. Maybe they'll get sick of losing and sell the team.

Get this jackass out of here.

Jahlani, you're not *nearly* a good enough player to have the kind of cache to make this statement in public. You're an overrated JAG who's making *way* too much money in relation to your production.

We can go get Elandon Roberts again for half the price to shoot the wrong gaps and show zero awareness on the field.

Gillette Stadium is *our* house, the ones who pay for your garbage ass to stink up the joint. You came to *our* house, **** on the floor for 3 years, and then said we're the problem. Kindly **** off. Thanks. I sincerely apologize if you were offended by my words.
I was thinking the same thing. He's in our house, not his.

At least Roberts had the speed and quickness to make up for his mistakes. Tavai doesn't. Roberts was also a solid hitter. Tavai might be but he misses too often.
