Carter is a bigger and not much slower Parsons. He can play all over the front of a Defense. Like Parsons, he was only moved to Edge his last season. He can play OLB/ILB/SS and can play Edge if needed. How many of us would pass on a talent that could possibly be what Micah Parsons is?
As long as we're drafting Carter with a trade return from another team OR if we win and end up with the #4 pick, sure. At #1, I need as much of a "HAUL" as possible. Swap of 1sts this year, plus a 2, then next year's 1st at least.

I want this year's first and multiple years firsts, depending on how far back the drop is. Obviously, it's hard to get a ransom if you're dropping from 1 to 3. Dropping outside the top 3 should net a haul. Let's say the Raiders covet Sanders. They should be able to get multiple firsts, maybe even multiple second rounders for that pick.
OR multiple picks AND Maxx Crosby?

Agree with this. If they packaged both firsts they could get the best non QB in the draft. It could be a big time player at a number of positions. LT, Edge, WR etc..
Sadly, we may suck enough to get that player with our own pick

I hope you are all right. However to trade 1st pick or not to trade it depends on the Bills' game. I am not so sure it will go our way.

I NEVER agree with losing, but I'm going to make an exception for this 1 game.
Get much better pick, AND POSSIBLY(more importantly) a reason for * to get rid of that fkn ASS CLOWN...
If THAT requires a total beatdown, then so be it....lose fkn 60-2 if a new HC will be the prize.

is it for sure the lowest we can drop is 4 ? or could we drop to 5 with a win and jville and others losing ? the league really sucked this year.

2023 Draft: Gonzalez, White, Boutte, Douglas. Since most teams average 2 players per draft not sure how getting 4 starters is a bad draft?

2023 Draft: Gonzo, White, Boutte, Douglas. Also Mapu and Baringer are starting, and Sow started last year and is hurt this year. Also PFF has Ryland ranked as the 4th best kicker in the NFL, he is a starter and should be kicking for the Pats - our dip **** coaches cut Ryland and kept Slye who has had a worse year.

As of last week the 2023 draft had 7 starters, and one injured player who started last year. Amazing draft. I think it will be one of the Patriots' best.

We all saw Ryland last year and, in the pre-season, and camp, Slye beat him out in camp, what faith did anyone have that Ryland would put it together at all this year?
I'm the first to criticize them laying Brissett over Maye in camp and not giving Dell Pettus more snaps over a clearly hobbled Dugger but Slye over Ryland not sure I can criticize too heavily based on how they performed in camp and preseason.
Ironically, they've both have exactly 30 Field goal attempts (Slye made 23, Ryland 26), Slye missed 1 chip shot and 1 from 30-39 and has that 68 yarder missed. That's the 3 field goal difference between the 2. Both missed 1 PAT. These numbers could easily reverse next year. Pretty much they are kicking about the same level of kicker.

I said that but it's not quite that simple. However we have to go 0 and 6 in all the games sudnY while winning AND the Jaguars lose.

I feel quite comfortable that that's not happening.
I ran the numbers in a spreadsheet plugging in every game if it went the wrong way and that puts Jags at a tie with us but the tie breaker is head-to-head so we have clinched no worse than 4th.

Giants, Bears, Chargers, Ravens, Bengals all going for the Jags would put both teams at .46931

2024, I get the failure in drafting Polk, but Maye and Robinson are starting.

I don't think they have been great by any means but 2021 was when the "collaborative" effort started but still unclear how much was mainly BB

2021: Barmore and Rham
2022: Marcus Jones, Cole Strange
2023: Gonzalez, White, Boutte, Douglas.
2024: Maye, Robinson, potentially Wallace and every other pick made the team and UDFA Pettus is playing well.

We like to trash them, and I get it, but based on the actual results they have been pretty much league average drafting so, yeah, I doubt they will mess up a top 3 pick because the average GM, not drafting a QB, hits on that at a high level.

Yeah, they over-drafted Strange, reached on Mac Jones, missed Ladd but that's atypical most NFL teams.
I like Strange and don't think we reached at #29. Also don't think we reached for Mac at 15, he was a decent value there and we badly needed a QB. And overall our draft results the past few years have been about average, not horrible.

That said, to miss so badly in the 2nd round taking Tyquan over Pickens and then Polk over McConkey is basically unforgivable. Not to mention exchanging Meyers for JuJu. All of these fall at the feet of Wolf. All he had to do was make the obvious choice each time and our starting WR's would be Jakobi Meyers, George Pickens, and Ladd McConkey.

Math isn't my strong suit. I thought we could still lose by .1 if it broke the wrong way.

Well this is good news then. A glimmer of hope.

This is the one receiver I’d love to draft in ‘26/‘27.

I wonder if the Giants would be desperate enough to include either Nabers, Burns or Lawrence in a trade up. Or if the Raiders would do the same with Crosby, Bowers or Miller.

Zero chance Nabers gets traded. I can't imagine a world where teams would give those other players along with draft capital to get a below average QB prospect.............but then there was the Bryce Young wackiness, so anything is possible, but Nabers is not being traded: 100%.

I agree…but these teams/organizations are bad for a reason..
