The question should not have been what Kraft thought about those 5 years. It should always have been what was more likely the following year/s. And wether it was Mayo or Ben Johnson it was still more likely that Bill would be successful once he found the right the QB then the next HC being good and the next GM finds that QB.

Luckily that next GM may have found the QB but we are still screwed because the HC is not good. Maybe Bill doesn't find that QB and we are screwed anyway but there were way less variables to deal with had we just given Bill one more year.

And what really baffles me is completely ignoring the blue print we used for our hiring process last time in favor of all first timers. Last time our HC/GM had previous HC experience and decades of experience as an assistant. And he came with coordinators with decades of experience. Any one of those 3 hires last time singularly came with more experience than our current HC, OC, and DC have combined.

It's borderline insanity.
Yeah. Bill was stubborn but at his worst you would never see complete incompetence like we're seeing now. And players not Doing Their Job.

Will be interesting to see how long the Krafts put up with this.

Headline news: Mac Jones has his MJ10 trademark extended for the 4th time as of last week.

quick question. I have seen some multi round mock's lately and we are currently picking 2nd in the first, but don't pick until 38th in the second round. Shouldn't we be picking 34th? Why do we drop 4 places in the 2nd? Explain it to me

Tiebreakers. Tie breakers decide the order of the 1st round which is how we’re currently 2nd. But tiebreaker rules also state that the team who picked first of the group in the 1st round will pick last in the 2nd round, and all other tied teams move up one spot in the 2nd round. That concept continues for all 7 rounds.

They reverse order when tiebreakers decide position. That’s my best guess.

No that is not bad. It only proves that Matty P ruined him. There is no other explanation. Really obvious.
Someone ruined him. I’d rather that explanation be true instead of the other one where the GM of his former team at the time actually spent a first round draft pick on a Qb who doesn’t belong in the NFL…

The GM screwed up, no doubt.

Mac is not an NFL QB, I don't think he is a backup NFL QB. Lots of other good backups - just sign a former Jets 1st round pick who has been ruined. Geno Smith was ruined and recovered, Sam Darnold was ruined and recovered, Mac will not recover because he was never ruined. Mac is not a NFL QB.

Mac Jones continues to help out his old franchise by winning today in his 2 TD performance over the Titans. The Jaguars were our closest competitor for strength of schedule, .465 vs .472.

As long as we don't do the unthinkable and beat the Bills next week, we have secured the #1 overall draft pick in the NFL!

Wow, didn't think I'd ever say that.

How many wins does he have vs Lawrence’s wins ?

Mac Jones has 2 wins this season, both against the Titans. He has come up clutch to help secure our draft position.

He's like the perfect sleeper agent. Just bad enough nobody believes he is sabotaging the Jaguars draft position to help us.
