It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yup, rep as a dirty player (was voted even) and took HGHI feel bad for Rodney, but he pissed a lot of people off over his career and that will kill someone that is sort of borderline.
What about all the other players in with positive steroid tests? Or Peyton Manning having it sent to his ****ing house?Rodney not getting in is a shame
I guarauntee some writers are holding that positive steroid test that Rodney apologized for against him
On,y because they don’t like him and yes he was the Proverbial Patriot
Yeah. I’m not calling him out on itWhat about all the other players in with positive steroid tests? Or Peyton Manning having it sent to his ****ing house?
They are very good players but in my view did not have the impact on the game including SBs that Harrison and Wilfork hadI can see the argument for those two being "Their contributions didn't show up in the stat sheet. You'd have to really understand football and line play to appreciate how good they were." That's the exact same argument you'd make for Wilfork, though. Evans and Yanda were really, really good, but there's no way they should be advancing in the process instead of Wilfork.
As far as Rodney Harrison goes, every year the HOF voters intentionally exclude him and induct inferior players, they diminish the credibility of the Hall of Fame.

That attitude certainly endeared him to us lol he was the best. This is such a shame.Rodney Harrison was a bad ass S, but he was not well liked around the NFL - especially after the Trent Green hit.
He was considered to be on a HoF trajectory with the Chargers so this pretty much makes your statement a fact.if rodney played for almost any other team he'd be in.
From his era, Atwater, Lynch, and Butler are in. Harrison's stats compare favorably to each of those guys' stats, especially if value is given to the role he played in winning championships with the Pats. I'm sure that when his stats are compared to his peers who have been inducted, those who snubbed Harrison will say that "stats aren't everything" and babble about "character" and "leadership." Those same people will then play the opposite game and point to stats to induct or snub others when it fits their preconceived notions. Not sure how they do what they do? My reasoning is simple regarding Harrison. Give me 10-15 safeties in the last 50 years that were better? He’s in that conversation and he’s got hardware along with a fierce reputation. I can name 30 receivers that were better than Heinz Ward with a glance at WRs that are in already.

There is no doubt in my mind, and hasn't been for quite a while, that the HOF selection process is corrupt and that jealousy against the Patriots is rampant in that process. As with all such things one needs to look at who is involved. The focus has generally been on the writers who cast the deciding votes and not on the selection committees that determine the finalists for whom the writers vote. The membership of the selection committees is kept opaque (not transparent) exactly so the members have no fear of being held accountable. That is prime facia evidence of the corruption here.
I wish this didn't piss me off so much, but double standards, as with all forms of prejudice, strike a deep nerve with me. We Pats fans were expected for many years to support the NFL and cheer for the Packers, Dolphins, Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers, etc. When it finally was our team's turn to experience glory, all of a sudden there were different rules, rules which don't seem to be applied to the Chiefs.
