This is very dismay[o]ing. I wonder how many more are thinking along the same lines.
I wonder how many more there are?
We didn’t know about White until just now.
Geezus, your really projecting here, doubt any of what you say happens.Well, and they'll complicate it by only firing the HC or the GM every other year but keeping the other one, so they're rarely on the same page.
Sorry, I live in Redskins/Commanders country. The cynicism runs deep here.Geezus, your really projecting here, doubt any of what you say happens.
I was referring to the comment about Chuks made by @Ross12 .What he say?
wild I brought up consolation prizes without reading the quote."I personally don't take consolation prizes," he said when asked about the Patriots performance in Buffalo. "I want to win. So that's just how I feel about it."
"You learn things from losses, " he admitted. "You learn things from wins. You can learn things from every situation that you're in. But I believe that a loss is a loss. There's no such thing as a good loss. There's no such thing as, like, all the consolation prizes and everything like that. At the end of the day, we get paid to win, and that's how you continue to get paid."

"There's no such thing as a good loss. There's no such thing as, like, all the consolation prizes and everything like that. Nah, I think in 20-30 years, people will only remember the winning years. Same with Bill and Brady. People only remember the winning years for Walsh and Lombardi.
There's no other way to read between the lines on this than that even the players recognize they're being sent out to play buzz box electric football by Kraft's incompetent coaching staff."I'd rather no comment for (that)," said White matter of factly.
I’d rather trade Mayo to anyone for whatever we can get. Can’t wait til we trade White to the Chiefs for 6th round pick.
There is a future defensive leader for the Pats if they play this right."I personally don't take consolation prizes," he said when asked about the Patriots performance in Buffalo. "I want to win. So that's just how I feel about it."

White was asked why it's been so hard for this defense to get on the same page.

Probably not. Though he's still under contract, so there's a lot to still happen. There is a future defensive leader for the Pats if they play this right.
Will they?
You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Read between the lines. Kraft was NEVER going to give Mayo only one year. He set a flimsy standard a week ago that Mayo would only be in danger if the Patriots completely imploded the last 3 games and that already didn't happen and all the heat on Mayo in the media died down. Every single reporter with a line to Kraft already cooled and walked things back after the Bills game. There is a future defensive leader for the Pats if they play this right.

And he wasn't a coach during Free Agency Afaik. It makes sense for Lombardi. He never had a losing season.
Or we can just make it look like he was with Krafts wife. You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Read between the lines. Kraft was NEVER going to give Mayo only one year. It's a waste of time. Unless Mayo gets blown out in the last two games, gets in a fist fight with the players, and maybe ****s Jonathan Kraft's wife, he's getting at least the first half of next season.
Players come for other players, not coaches. If Maye is good, they'll want to be here regardless of the coach. My biggest concern with this regime is players have shot their way off the team and a few others have raised concerns,
What top free agent is going to land with Mayo.
And he wasn't a coach during Free Agency Afaik.
That's a BIG Difference.
