Nice, hope the Bills fans are cool to you. They’re usually a pretty fun bunch
Well, since the Bills are likely to pound the Pats, their fans are likely to be in a great mood.

He is an opponent that you respect on and off the field. It seems like none of the current top tier QB's are truly hate able. Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, Stafford, Jackson, Goff etc. all seem like decent people who aren't jerks and don't get into trouble off the field. The same can't be said of the next tier.

One of these is Not like the other...

The bills have scored like 100 points in the last 2 weeks.

They are going to rip us the **** apart.
Hope we win but after this game I'm a Bills fan the rest of their games and anyone else challenging the Chiefs and Steelers. Until the Pats get their act together go AFC East!!

If I were the Bills, I wouldn't run up the score. I'd sit Allen once there was a comfortable lead. Why? (1) To keep him healthy for the playoffs, (2) It's in their best interest for the Patriots to retain Mayo next year, since we're in the same division. If Mayo is still HC, the Patriots are a non-factor in the division, guaranteed.

Without Bentley around, Tavai has been totally exposed. He is not a starting caliber LB in this league.
Tavai is a good player. He's being asked to do things beyond his skills set.. he's gotten better since he came into the league. We could say this basically about everyone in the front 7.. no pass rush has everyone not named gonzo exposed.

I've never appreciated good coaching more than this season. It really made me be more appreciative for Bill and the structure he gave us for so long. Mayo asked for this. He wanted to be a head coach so this is what he asked for. He should have taken DC opportunities elsewhere it would have made him a better coach. When you skip the answers to a test you will never pass.

Is that so? Hear the league has flexed us out to 4:25 why? Why? Why?
If I may from Bobby McFarrin "Don't Worry, Be Happy". If change is what you seek what better way then a very public massive beatdown (so much that they cut to another game after about a half) highlighting the dysfunctional reality of a coaching staff just simply out of their depth and experience?

Silver linings playbook indeed.

So the team got blown out on Sunday…

… canceled all meetings Monday…

… and now has Tuesday off…

… So they are only going to practice for 3 days (Wed-Thur-Fri) before flying to Buffalo on Saturday and playing on Sunday…

I’m sure it’ll go great
I'll state the obvious.

Cool, let's further enable the bad behavior, lack of discipline, and other negative outcomes that have plagued this season.

You’d think they would have wanted to meet to discuss this stuff right away. Bill would have held EXTRA meetings after a performance like that, not canceled meetings.

We have NOTHING else!!..
Hyperbole. There are other pieces that would be complementary to a well coached and fundamentally sound team.

BUT there is a need for another couple (3-4 five tool leading players) key pieces - I won't disagree there, but the "burn it all down" meme is just that - a sound bite. You need guys like Schooler, as a led special teamer like Tavai in the right role of run based early down gap filler, like Wise as part of a rotation of DL, like Duggar as a hybrid near the line safety, etc but they have to be role players instead of the key pieces themselves.

That would be a welcome sight. Outside of Drake it's a slog to watch this team talentless, coachless and undisciplined. It took this to happen for ownership to understand visibly that it was a mistake.

Well, turns out I'm going to the game! My first ever Patriots game. I know going in that it's likely to be a massacre, but I'm excited anyway! I can't bring my camera and big lens into the stadium without a press pass, unfortunately, so I'll have to type up a simple report without images afterward. I guess I'd look distracting in the stands with my 600mm trained on the field, haha. Can't wait!
Can you do a tele lens on your phone?

Except there isn't much evidence that they have yet understood...

I expect that the evidence will be laid before them. Whether they can digest that evidence and fight their way free of their cognitive dissonance re Mayo is another thing.

One hopes.
Agreed. I feel the person affection they have for Mayo the man is clouding thier judgment.. to be totally fair.. I do believe Mayo is a smart guy and the players love him. However I don't believe any if his coaching acumen translates to the field of play. I was like most fans I was duped by week 1 thinking that is how the season would go.. close games, sound, tough defense. It fell apart quickly And a win here or there does nothing to prove that Mayo's just not cut out as a HC. I was his biggest supporter on the forum and i just had to come to realization with him. Let's hope our team owners can do the same!

If this is a 40 point blowout you could actually see movement in Mayo based on how the media has reported on this narrative this week.

I still don't think he gets fired but we're doing a massive disservice to Maye by firing the OC this year, known that if next year goes horrendous (almost certainly will) that you're during Mayo and thus hiring a coach who's going to bring in his own coordinators.

That would be what? 8 new OC in 8 seasons? That is the very definition of a franchise that is incompetent.

Get it all out of the way now. And cut the nonsense with Vrabel. Without prime Henry, I'd like to see how his NFL career would of gone.

We need someone who is from the offensive side of the ball. It's time.
