I get what you are saying. And I realize we can debate how well AVP is doing. I am not really sure where I stand. I do not think he is doing a great job but still better then head coach and DC.It’s hard to know who gets the credit for Maye’s development. It could be Macadoo, it could be Van Pelt. But Van Pelt is above Macadoo so he gets ultimate credit or blame. However the play calling has been really bad, and that’s on Van Pelt. Ultimately the only thing that really matters to me is that they stay in a form of the west coast offense. I don’t want them changing systems on him, so no return to the Erhardt-Perkins offense.
Ownership put the management team and coaching staff together and it is a disaster. It's the prevailing attitude amongst the Belichick fans that they want to put all the blame on Kraft for everything.
Your post seemed like it is trying to place all the blame on ownership. Ownership isn't the problem until they start firing HCs 3 games into the regular season or sticking with a HC or GM after multiple failed seasons.
At this point it's still too soon to blame Wolf IMO but there definitely appears to be some dysfunction from the coaching staff which is a problem.
If Wolf tries to move on from Mayo in offseason and is blocked by the ownership then I think it is fair to then blame ownership.
Who should they have signed of enlightened one? Given Tryon Smith a giant contract? How many wins did he help the Jets get?Ownership put the management team and coaching staff together and it is a disaster.
Do me favor look at all of wolf’s decisions. Free agents he signed, free agents he didn’t, his draft and tell me how many were good ones. There’s your answer. He was handed a 4-13,team that had the worst qb play in the league and some other clear deficiencies and 100 million and the 3rd pick in every round to fix it. He lucked into Maye which solved the biggest problem and proceeded to use all those assets to make the OL and Wr units even worse than they were and add absolutely nothing to the defense, not even replacing the players that were lost.
Why would you need more time to judge that he simply isn’t good at this.
Let me put it another way. Everyone in the world know OL and WR were problems and along with QB were the reason it was a 4 win team. With almost unlimited resources he let the deficiencies at OL and Wr get worse. If you have unlimited resources and you can’t improve on terrible you don’t know how to do it.
As far as the coach the 3 Stooges at HC, OC and DC weren’t qualified to get the job to begin with and have been even worse (by a lot) than expected. They went out and proved they were bad hires. Keeping them is pointless.
So yes ownership is the problem because of who they put in charge and will be exacerbating the problem by crapping away another year.
In addition ownership is the problem because their decision has been to spend less on football player payroll than every other team
There were dozens of free agents better than the players we have put out there. I’m not going to repost the list every time some excuse maker asks.Who should they have signed of enlightened one? Given Tryon Smith a giant contract? How many wins did he help the Jets get?
Should they have given Calvin Ridley 30mil a year? He wanted to play in the south so it would have taken a drastic over pay to get, also how many wins did he get the Titans?
This FA was terrible in terms of talent. Trent Brown was the second best LT available and Owenu was considered the best young OL available and they resigned him, and he hasn't exactly been a bright spot on the offense but at least he is serviceable.
Again, who should they have signed that they missed out on? Again you have to add additional cost to any player they missed out on since the Pats were probably the least desirable landing spot this past FA
You can go here and look at this list and see all of the players better than our waiver wire starters.Who should they have signed of enlightened one? Given Tryon Smith a giant contract? How many wins did he help the Jets get?

List the dozen of players that Wolf missed out on that would have made the team a playoff contenderThere were dozens of free agents better than the players we have put out there. I’m not going to repost the list every time some excuse maker asks.
BTW why do you speak as if overpaying to get better players is a worse thing than the money staying in Robert Krafts bank account and never getting spent on players? How does that help the team?
List the better players with the contract details. You can go here and look at this list and see all of the players better than our waiver wire starters.
Nothing wrong with paying for talent, but overpaying for low quality players is a surefire way to set a team back. There were dozens of free agents better than the players we have put out there. I’m not going to repost the list every time some excuse maker asks.

I’ve done it before I am not going to do it again.List the dozen of players that Wolf missed out on that would have made the team a playoff contender
Spend the 40 mill we chose to leave in krafts bank account any way you wish, we would be a better team unless you evaluate free agents as poorly as wolf doesList the better players with the contract details.
How does having players instead of money in krafts bank account set the team back?Nothing wrong with paying for talent, but overpaying for low quality players is a surefire way to set a team back.
How did overpaying for Nelson Agholor and Jonnu Smith work out for this team?
My point about increase in pay, is you can't say player x cost 10mil therfore we should have paid 10mil for player x, because player x might have required a multi year contract at 15mil per year to join the Pats.
This isn't the Pats of the 00s and 10s where FA want to join at a discount.
It doesn't save Kraft money. It allows for cap space to be moved into next year for a much better FA pool.Spend the 40 mill we chose to leave in krafts bank account any way you wish, we would be a better team unless you evaluate free agents as poorly as wolf does
No. Having Agholor, Smith and JUJU cause salary cap issues and led to a lack of talent on the roster. How does having players instead of money in krafts bank account set the team back?
Agholor and smith worked out better than not signing any players.
Are you seriously arguing that if every signing isn’t great then you shouldn’t sign anyone?
How did Henry, Judon, Bourne etc work out?
And player x may also have signed here for less, you dint know. We didn’t try.
You play what players cost. Are you still arguing not spending the money and letting Kraft pay the lowest payroll for players in the league as a philosophy makes is better? Why do you care how much money Kraft makes?
Either list then or stop your nonsense. Fact is you don't want to label these so called 12 players because it doesn't existI’ve done it before I am not going to do it again.
Go through the OL and tell me which of them are worse than thd waiver wire wire pickups we are starting on the OL, worse the worst ever producing WR, or Osborne, or Boutte or baker. Show me the DTs worse that Jeremiah (friends u) Pharms, the safeties worse than Hawkins, thr LBs worse than TakiTaki
If you look at that list and don’t see dozens of players better than what we are trotting out there you are lying.
There is no way in hell they are spending it next year.It doesn't save Kraft money. It allows for cap space to be moved into next year for a much better FA pool.
You are such a troll. Pats broke the record for most spent cash in 21. Kraft is willing to spend. There is no way in hell they are spending it next year.
I sent you the list. I’m not going to do the Woolf again every time an excuse maker wants it.Either list then or stop your nonsense. Fact is you don't want to label these so called 12 players because it doesn't exist
The patriots spent the least cash on players from 2016-2023 in the NFL. If you expand that to krafts entire tenure it’s basically the same. You are such a troll. Pats broke the record for most spent cash in 21. Kraft is willing to spend.
He is definitely cheap when it came to players facilities which has helped make the Pats a less desirable spot to play
Question for you. If I eat ramen noodles for 8 years then one might go out and spend big at an expensive restaurant and over the whole 8 years spend less on food than anyone else, am I cheap? You are such a troll. Pats broke the record for most spent cash in 21. Kraft is willing to spend.
