Wait for the combine and pro days, half informed opinions are often not good ones.Agree but Campbell looks like the only OT who is worth taking over Hunter.

This ^ is a lie.You mean the same OL you were telling me was playing at an elite level after week 3 last year. That OL?
Huh. I wonder what changed?
WR’s have one of the highest failure rates in draft history. A great linemen has a lot higher success rate. We need to add free agent tackles along with drafting one.We all know we our biggest concern is the Oline.
With that said can we wait until the draft and should we count on the rookie?
I think in a perfect world we fix our line in free agency and then take an edge rusher in the top ten and maybe add an extra draft pick.
I'm not going to complain about Hunter or McMillan though.
PS the smart thing is probably to fix the OL in free agency and still go LT in the draft.
From the looks of it, if you miss out on Hunter, you’re over drafting just about anyone else. I’m not completely sold on Hunter. His weight isn’t ideal and he won’t be a 2 way player in the pro’s. Not a significant snap one at least.Bewilders me how many people in here are saying “yeah I want the team to grossly overdraft a tackle”
WR has had a better success rate that Offensive Tackles recently...gotta go with the times Wozzy.WR’s have one of the highest failure rates in draft history. A great linemen has a lot higher success rate. We need to add free agent tackles along with drafting one.
Draft weapons later in the draft, they can be found in every round.
Giants are not winning another game and will pick qb
Raiders not winning another game and will pick qb
Pats at 3 will have Hunter available...
Kelvin Banks is a top 5 pick, no?Bewilders me how many people in here are saying “yeah I want the team to grossly overdraft a tackle”
You can win at the LOS and the Defense still gets coverage sacks: you Need that WR. And we don't have one.Offensive line. Everything else is BS. Win the line of scrimmage first. Fancy fantasy WRs later. Coaching is problematic with this team still, but let's fix the OL and maybe then everyone on the coaching staff gets a lot smarter. (IE everyone is a genius when they win)
Someone posted that this was an outdated idea and that since 2017 or so, WRs drafted in the top 10 are shoe-ins to be good, while LTs drafted in that area have way more volatile results.WR’s have one of the highest failure rates in draft history. That should be our plan: but we'll know soon enough if this brass have brains. Get Cam Robinson - G Bolles or R Stanley after that: Draft a developmental Offensive Tackle in the Second or Third Rounds. We Need to get at least Three Starters in FA alone. My wishlist LT Cam Robinson - WR Tee Higgins and WR Chris Godwin Offensive woes solved. We sat on the $$$$$$$ in 24 let's spend it in 25.Someone posted that this was an outdated idea and that since 2017 or so, WRs drafted in the top 10 are shoe-ins to be good, while LTs drafted in that area have way more volatile results.
I'm all for spending on decent OTs in FA. Even if they're short term, it buys us a year or 2 to draft/develop their successors.
Hmmmm. You can win at the LOS and the Defense still gets coverage sacks: you Need that WR. And we don't have one.
Oh yeah you wanna pass up on Mike Evans for Isiah Wynn? You should be fired
T Hunter and Tet McMillan look like sure bets even they can't mess the selection up. I get your fears but both will be right there for our taking. I don't want to hear nothing more about our misfits cast of WR's: our group is at the very bottom...they are BAD!!Hmmmm.
If you win the line LOS, you'll win more matchups and more games than you lose. I get that everyone want the shiny fantasy toy, but they have one NFL level lineman, and they need a total of 5. It can be argued that Boutte, Douglas and Bourne are at least NFL capable. None are great, they are all WR3-4 at best. The OL, on the other hand, is Onwenu and a bunch of practice players. I am not saying that they should forgo the WR position in the off-season, but they absolutely suck at drafting for it, based on Polk and Baker being misses. Go get one FA this off season. Overpay for Higgins (I don't love his injury history) or Godwin (who's also coming off an injury), draft Banks at R1 3-5 and then BPA in R2 and 3.
I don't get why we want them to draft another WR when they have proven to eff it up every. single. time.
Yup they are bad.T Hunter and Tet McMillan look like sure bets even they can't mess the selection up. I get your fears but both will be right there for our taking. I don't want to hear nothing more about our misfits cast of WR's: our group is at the very bottom...they are BAD!!
Stop using your opinion and calling it factual, it’s not.WR has had a better success rate that Offensive Tackles recently...gotta go with the times Wozzy.
I’d say most players in the top ten have an overwhelming chance of being successful. That’s not how averages work.Someone posted that this was an outdated idea and that since 2017 or so, WRs drafted in the top 10 are shoe-ins to be good, while LTs drafted in that area have way more volatile results.

I am going to make sure you are on suicide watch during FA and the Draft. When you see us bring in those WR's.Stop using your opinion and calling it factual, it’s not.

Maybe in 1985. Certainly not anymore. Do you watch the rest of the NFL or just the boring hapless patriots offense?WR’s have one of the highest failure rates in draft history.
Oh yeah, says whom?A great linemen has a lot higher success rate.
We also need to provide our young rookie QB with actual NFL talent at the skilled positions so he can score in the redzone. We need to add free agent tackles along with drafting one.
So provide less athletic/less talented receivers for our young rookie QB? Scrape from the bottom of the barrel when it comes to skilled positional players? Kind of like we have done the last 5 years, which produced the worst offense in the NFL?Draft weapons later in the draft, they can be found in every round.
I was thinking the same thing. When you look him up, his viewed as a “CB”, but has 1,000 yards receiving. So what is he?This guy has bust written all over him.
