Your point? Yes, we need to upgrade most (4?) of our OL starters and we don't know how many backups.

For others, it means that our entire coaching staff should be fired, as well as half the team.

I've seen NO ONE simply say that with an adequate OL, we would be a very different team.
Oline: Definitely need to upgrade the starters, but we really need a new, experienced offensive line coach! At a minimum get Scar to be a consultant and whip the players into shape. Evaluate our existing players to determine what we need.

A WR1 would’ve meant at least 3-4 wins so far this year. A stud LT would’ve helped too.

Stevenson has turned into a fumble machine and can’t gain yardage like He did in the past. He used to power thru a stacked up line, but now he seems to turn sideways and doesn’t push forward for extra yards. Maybe he improves next year, but we need to sign/draft his possible replacement.

Coaching changes: at minimum replace defensive coordinator and offensive line coaches, wr coaches may need upgrade too-I don’t know enough to weigh in on this. AVP ambivalent about replacing; not great, but Maye is improving and offense looks to be improving too. No objection to new head coach and staff. Difficult to evaluate Wolf as few free agent players wanted to join the disaster Patriots last year. Too soon to jettison players from 2024 draft; lots of players step up big time in year two. Wolf may need help with draft time trades. Would be difficult to bring in new GM/decision maker right before the draft.

plan for 2025: Tape over Mayo’s mouth. Tell player agents we are looking for upgrades and want to sign good players. Go after Higgins quickly-overpay as he would instantly improve offense and let us use 1st rd choice elsewhere. Sign above average LT. Again helps us consider wide range of impact players with 1st rd choice: trade down, WR, OT, DT, CB, pass rusher; goal is to end up with a blue chip stud. Consider other offensive linemen, WR, edge players, DT, CB, ?other needs with free agency and draft picks. We should be able to build a solid team with playoff potential this offseason.

Fully healthy Barmore is a beast, he’ll be 100 next season

I stopped reading after "at minimum, get Scar"
Sure, at minimum get one of the best OL coaches in the history of the NFL!?

Obviously, we might be more reasonable in our hopes.

This seems to be a very normal aftergame thread.

If Richardson had been stopped on the last play or in the 2-point play, there would be celebration, and so many pointing out how improved the team was.

Of course, we lost. Therefore, we should fire all the coaches and cut most of the players. Our Defense is "terrible other than Gonzo" and our Offense is pretty much as expected on Game One, awful except for Maye and a couple of backup WRs.

Perhaps this is really a reasonable way to analyze games and team; it is for so many.

I bet we’re going to hear a player eventually come out and say a quote about Mayo similar to what JJ Watt said when asked about Jack Easterby that he had no idea who he was, what he did and noticed him walking around with no purpose.

Here's a fun hypothetical.
Presuming the Pats fire DC as DC...
Would you take Saleh as DC - with a Asst. HC title? (he wouldn't likely work under a vastly inexperienced Mayo)
But he clearly wasn't the problem in NY, and has helped GB a lot since being there.

Pats need to have two uniforms for 2025: the throwbacks they wore yesterday and the 90’s.

One other piece of bad news. It may be possible for the pats to lose out and not get a top 5 pick I think. There are so many really bad teams it is insane. Someone may go 3-14 and not pick in the top 5 this year. Hope it ain't us.

Pats probably aren't going to win again this year Bills 2x, Chargers and Cards. Bills should both be blown outs. Chargers should win convincingly. Maybe we can steal one vs the Cards but I don't think it happens. They aren't that good but are solidly in the middle.
Worse choice Pats get is the 4th pick if they lose their remaining games.

simply sign Saleh as Asst Coach

They dominated a below average team at home and lost anyway.

We need to take the opponent into consideration. We would have been happy we won, like when we beat the Bears, but no one would be thinking we were a good team.

Too bad you didn’t read a few more words.

Reportedly. Some people still believe fake news.
He also provided this nugget on Harry:

“It also, as some saw it, led to misses like N’Keal Harry in 2019. Harry killed his 30 visit that spring and had a college coach, Todd Graham, who was close to Belichick. In that end, without more input from scouts who preferred Deebo Samuel and A.J. Brown, the coach wound up leaning on his own experience with Harry, rather than the red flags his scouts planted, and lost a golden opportunity to fill a hole on his roster.”
