Does anyone think there is a chance Mayo is one and done?

Wolf didn't overspend for declining vets like the Jets did. This year's FA was terrible with hardly any young talent at positions of need available.
Timely post with Tyron Smith headed to IR and probably done for the season (maybe career) with a completely predictable aggravation of a neck problem that he’s had for at least 8 years.

Losing to the mediocre Colts will help solidify in the Krafts’ minds that Mayo is not the guy. At least not yet.

If they want results gotta hire a proven winner.

Jon Gruden.

Did I just write that?

What is Spags contract situation with KC? I know his first stint as a HC was a failure but its been a long time and, if we are not going into first timers again (and I can see the merit on that) in case Kraft decides to fire Mayo, we may be looking for a HC with a failed historic unless we decide to go Doug Peterson (but his most recent stint will end up in a big fail) or someone who is out of the picture like Gary Kubiak for example.

Spags been alongside Reid for a long time so that is valuable experience even if he didn't have HC experience from the past. Mayo came out of nothing and is clearly not showing he is ready. I'm sorry look at Chicago, if you don't fire you coach even with all the red lights in the world just to "not fire after one season" because you're not the Jets, then you become the Bears or Saints.

There's no time to be wasted here, we are in a good situation to speed up the rebuilding process and being competitive, but it needs the right people more than ever.

If Mayo leaves and becomes the next Belichick somewhere else so be it. That's a risk I'm totally willing to take

I'd like Flo as my HC, dabol as OC and wilks as DC. People forget KC defense was historical bad for many years it wasn't until the last season and a half that they got some guys and started to play better. However the doesn't diminish spaces at all he has championship pedigree and is a great coach. I think if he left KC he'd probably seek one last HC opportunity elsewhere. Mayo just does not have the seasoning as a DC he should have taken those opportunities outside of NE and then came back he would have been a better HC had he taken those opportunities elsewhere.

One factor at GM you have to give credit for is cap space.
Or perhaps they are just cheap and prefer to cut costs instead of adding talent to the least talented team in the league.

Or his delulisonal "excitement regarding the Patriots offensive line and confidence in their competitveness" made him happy with the pieces he had/has. Remember this wasn't an overnight thing that snuck up on them, the line was obviously horrible last year, all through camp, preseason and now in regular season looks worse every week.

I know I am going to hear what else is he going to say, well he should say as little as possible instead of something that is obviously bs. Just not a good look. Regardless, deciding to make offensive line a higher priority should have been an easy one given its performance from last year.

Your right the OL had been and always been disastrous. One move wolf could make to help a big position of need is trying to sure up the CB spot.. he has a chance to add a young, talented player in Forbes. He could come in and pair well with gonzo. Right now we have JAGs at CB depth. Getting a legit guy on the outside could do wonders heading into next season.

We aren’t first on the waiver wire.

Also could Mayo be destined for this mt Rushmore of greatness?

We are 3rd on the waiver claim your right. Also you forgot to add Jeff Saturday.

That was peak Jerrod the Fraud. It took a special kind of head coaching incompetence to lose that game. If Kraft doesn’t fire Mayo after this debacle, anyone who renews their season tickets is complicit in the destruction of this once great franchise.

Send Thundercat a message to the only thing he cares about, his wallet. No real Pats fans should step foot in Gillette until a real coach is hired!

Always has that deer in the headlights look like he doesn’t have a grip on the game.

Is the season motto

or fire Mayo signs!

I like Krafts Mayo is stale or gross!
Let Kraft know he’s being blamed,

It won’t happen, but I’d have been fine dumping the coaches today.

As I said in the offseason with much resistance, the Pats spent a lot of money just to get the roster to baseline. In fact, Rham and Barmore extensions were completely unnecessary. They are currently sitting at 3 wins and would be lucky to finish with 4. The money that has been spent will be something Bob will consider with Mayo's fate.

My only solace this year is the fact that Drake Maye looks like he has the potential to be the real deal. My main concern, on the other hand, is that he develops Superman-itis due to the fact that he is basically the only one on offense with a pulse. The quicker they surround him with talent, the quicker he will develop. The offseason agenda has to be: first-round tackle, starting-caliber (at minimum) guard in free agency, and sign/trade for a top-tier receiver.
Suffice it to say, it's a huge off season "To Do List".

He's looked shaky all season. His career is over.
That's just one of the reasons why I don't want Garrett Bolles. And even if he plays every game and plays well for 2 seasons more, we're back to needing a LT still.

"Fire Mayo" is trending on X.

"Fire Mayo" is trending on X.
Who can I pay to make it show up on Krafts phone every 5 minutes.
There has to be a Hacker who can make that happen.
Mayo must know where Krafts bodies are buried.
