They'll fine whomever it was just 12K and forget it happened,

Something fishy on this one
Incoming giving up our 1st and 3rd this year and 2026's 2nd for endangering our rookie's well-being.

You know, I have seen some ****ty forums (patsfans definitely got it right) and that jete forum is absolute trash. Hard to tell when one post ends and the next begins. Each post is just as ****ty as the previous one, blending in with each other...kinda like the team. ****e....

I know people want to say this game was more more about the Jets, but the Pats defense stepped up, Jacoby Brissett stepped up, AVP stepped up. They showed some pride today. If they can keep this going, win or lose games, then they have something to build upon next year.
I agree and said the same in my post. AVP’s play calling was better, the OL looked solid when Maye was in there, the defense did their jobs for the most part despite missing pieces, and everyone stayed engaged and playing hard despite Maye getting pulled by the league and the blatantly terrible officiating. Good showing by Mayo’s crew this week. Something to build on. Only 2 games behind in wild card standings.

Why did you paste that?

Imma go with 'cause it was still on his clipboard from when he posted it on this thread's previous page

Josh Allen same thing happened to him however no protocol.
Yea Josh lost consciousness and then took a big head shot the following week and there was not any medical tent trip

I haven't seen a star player as concussion prone as Tua since Trent Green. If sitting Maye multiple games keeps him from being Tua then sign me up.
But that's only because they played Tua the week after a concussion, and he got a concussion again.

Concussions so close together do something to you, permamently.

Aaron Rodgers has a pretty good stat line for today, but he was downright mediocre. He got bailed out on bad throws on crucial downs by PI calls, some legit and others not so much. He is unable to take credit for his own poor play. So I am assuming that someone is going to be made the fall guy for his mistakes.

So the NFL ruled him out not the team? Was he actually concussed?
I think he's supposed to be checked out by an independent neurologist who then makes the final determination.

I think the team may sit him for the next few weeks. Even if he passes the concussion protocol. He can start at home against the Rams on Nov 17th. 7 games to end the season.

They ALWAYS want to come back. The point is that the responsible person in the room has to tell them no. For the longest time coaches were supposed to be that person but wouldn't do it. That's why the league took over the protocol.
Fair enough but sometimes they go too far, others they don't go far enough. I mean what if he cleared up by halftime. Sometimes you just have some "cobwebs". I mean it is football.

Was at work all day, did Maye get injured? Came home to Brissett throwing the 2-pt conversion.
Yep
Concussion from a helmet-to-helmet (uncalled) at the end of a run.

I think he's supposed to be checked out by an independent neurologist who then makes the final determination.

Doesn't this seem a bit shady? Teams down by x points and not making a spread....the offense is driving into the red zone from their own 2-yard line.....said qb is "concussed" and is pulled by the refs and the team then loses.... can them being pulled be challenged?

Well I posted on the live game thread that I wouldn't waste my afternoon watching Brissett running the offense and the Patriots shoud figure out the QB2 position because he wasn't a fit at all, being a decent game manager on a stacked team but not this team, well. I couldn't stay away from the phone so I was watching parts from live streams.

luckily the message didn't get posted since the forum apparently is having some problems but I'm ready to eat crow anyway.

Nice win, this is important for Mayo and building something in the locker room. We already have a QB, now I'm not thinking about draft position at all.

Missed the game (not shown in DEU) & DST time shift over here threw me off
