This says a lot about the Jets and where they are at.

Brings in expensive aging QB and over pay him.
Bring in Davante Adams because its the answer to Rodgers problems although Wilson was a top Wr in draft.

Have a RB that is a legitimate threat with a back up that kills it as well.

We may be taking our lumps for sustained success that no fanbase could dream of, but the Jets are just flat out cursed, doomed to be ****ty for all eternity.

They just showed some tape of him going to the locker room, he looked kinda wobbly.
He needed help getting up after the play too. He still passed the ball well the rest of the series. But the point is, if he didn’t get concussed he would have been back out there in the 3rd quarter.

I know people want to say this game was more more about the Jets, but the Pats defense stepped up, Jacoby Brissett stepped up, AVP stepped up. They showed some pride today. If they can keep this going, win or lose games, then they have something to build upon next year.

It could be a cautious approach to franchise QB. Was hit to the head pretty hard, sometimes concussion symptoms don’t really show right away just safer to keep him out

So the NFL ruled him out not the team? Was he actually concussed?
Yes, the NFL concussions protocol that's why he had to enter the blue tent.. I believe the decisions made by the NFL and the team has to follow the protocol rules.

It's not worth trotting Drake Maye out there in the next 2 weeks.

There is no reason to do it.

Everyone knows that there is a window in which getting a concussion again causes exponentially more damage.

It's not worth playing him.

Let's move past the window

Mayo said Maye wanted to come back in the game at half.
They ALWAYS want to come back. The point is that the responsible person in the room has to tell them no. For the longest time coaches were supposed to be that person but wouldn't do it. That's why the league took over the protocol.

Nobody but nobody can Jete it up like the Jete.

I'd rather they treat Maye with kid gloves and not turn this into a Tua situation.
I haven't seen a star player as concussion prone as Tua since Trent Green. If sitting Maye multiple games keeps him from being Tua then sign me up.
