He is going to hit you with Yosh Nijman, Andrus Peat, and Oli Uhdo. I admit that I did want them to sign Yosh, but do not think he is of equal ability as Wozzy does.nope/ You are the only person who uses "good" to describe players.
===========
My opinion at the time was that Okorafor was the team's choice at LT and that he was a reasonable choice. I have no clue regarding what players meet your criterion of being "good".
But, yes, I expected Okorafor to be an OK starter or swing OT. And, yes, I was wrong. We should have signed the best LT willing to play for us. We have no clue who that player was.
============
Of course, the team did much worse. They drafted a RT expecting that we were fine at LT with Okorafor, Anderson and Lowe.
I am actually a fan of Thornton. I think that Booty is a stud and he is much faster than the 4.5 he ran the 40 in.I would still hold on to Tyquan... Maye can Throw Deep. IF Wolf ever Trade Tquan before playing him with Maye: I wish him nothing but disaster as a GM!!
Osborn also seemed to have some chemistry at the end of camp.Well he obviously wants, and rightfully so, he is a starter in this league, a very good #3 WR who did well with a solid QB like Cousins.
Now in this disfunctional team he is an after thought and if it keeps like this on his way to be out of the league or becoming a free agent with very low market value until he turns things around and once a player reaches that level, how many times good players reach that bottom level and never came back? He needs to worry about his finances and job, I don't think Kendrick Bourne is much better than him or even better at all, but he got 15Mi contract once.
Shot at Polk?
Both reallyYeah but more at AVP I’d guess.
Now Boutte is *****ing:
Soft. They’re soft I tell ya. Soft. Not like I was back in the day…When I was a youngster my work attitude was …I’m going to do whatever it takes short of death to get the job done. These newer folk don’t have that attitude. Thornton is waaay too much finesse.
Following Coach’s example?Why does Boutte think that he needs to talk to the press about this?
Winner winner chicken dinner. Coach says he likes to send his players messages in the media and, for some reason, encouraged his guys to do the same. So here’s Boutte basically saying his OC sucks to a group of reporters.Following Coach’s example?
I suppose so.Following Coach’s example?
Because his head coach and offensive coordinator clearly aren't listening.Why does Boutte think that he needs to talk to the press about this?
The Chargers have Herbert and their team has not been good.Oh.. I agree with everything you said.. I'm talking about internally.. RK even saying bill was the biggest a hole in his life. Alot of times personality conflicts can exist but seldom get talked about becuase winning mask everything. I've enjoyed the ride and I'm fully bracing how it is now. Becuase I know we have a QB now and the future will be bright with Drake.
Maybe Thornton is really pissed off being inactive for a few weeks and can stretch the field with Maye? Maybe I should give up on Tyquan?I suppose so.
Now, with Maye starting, Polk out, Bourne back for a couple of weeks, the Offense should look better. As far as personnel, this is the best we've looked so far this season.
Osbourne was available in free agency and came here on a relatively small contract. If teams didn't want him then, what has he shown this season that makes him think a team is going to trade anything for him?
Herbert is a good QBs who's underachieving.The Chargers have Herbert and their team has not been good.
No, it’s exactly what I’ve been saying since prior to this off-season, then again after Wolf signed a bunch of jags in free agency and bungled the draft after the first pick.OK, you think that this team is so good that a couple of better draft choices would have made them a contender. NO WAY!
=============
Some would argue Mitchell was a hit, but not me. Availability is the best ability.How can a team be so bad for so long at picking WR?
Picks before the 5th round
Polk
Baker
Thorton
Harry
Mitchell
Dobson
Josh Boyce
Taylor Price
Brandon Tate
Chad Jackson
Bethel Johnson
You have to go back to the 2002 when they took Branch in the second and Givens in the 7th to find a hit!
Edelman was a project that worked out great, but all that draft capital and nothing to show for any of it!!
This feels like it might be true heading into Week 8.No, it’s exactly what I’ve been saying since prior to this off-season, then again after Wolf signed a bunch of jags in free agency and bungled the draft after the first pick.
Better free agent signings and draft picks would have made them a contender.
The Washington Commanders aren’t substantially more talented than they were last year, they fixed their team in free agency, draft and with better coaching.
The Patriots….
